Introduction

Hello, welcome to my guide to how to passively roleplay. Within this guide, it will explore different routes for you to explore when deciding to passively roleplay. At times roleplay isn't all about action; it could be about daily city life. Let's not forget you are in a "serious roleplay sever", and roleplaying at all times is expected. This guide will assist you and perhaps inspire you to take up passively roleplaying.

Passive roleplaying tips.

Don't bother the SWAT.
Let's be honest; having interactions with the SWAT team by aggravating them at the back of the PD is fun but most of the time ends up with bloodshed. By bothering the SWAT, you are wasting police time and just being an annoyance.

If someone doesn't want to passively RP, don't stop.

If someone complains in LOOC that they don't want to passively roleplay with you, don't stop. That would (technically) be stalling RP which is also against the rules. Just keep going, who cares that they don't want to passively roleplay.

If it's getting aids, stop.
Find a way to end the passive RP. Tell them you have to go to the train, or perhaps you could just walk away.

Passive roleplaying as Government officals.

Passively roleplaying as medic.

When passively roleplaying as medic, make sure you enhance your roleplay by using a variety of medical tools such as syringes or latex gloves to make the person you're treating that you've taken his health and safety and hygiene into consideration. Take every chance you get to take him back to the hospital and get to look him over with the full size ambulance. Last night me, @Chris , @Marxxman_ and @FedorableTheSequel took a guy back who had a shoulder injury. We gave him a few jabs with a few syringes, examined his shoulder and gave him an x-ray. Other examples of passive RP as medic is by filling out paperwork within the hospital while you're waiting to be called out in the full-sized ambulance. Use propchairs as stretchers or wheelchairs using your physgun when the person is sat on the chair, this will enhance the roleplay if you provide a /me with it.

Passively roleplaying as Police.
Passively roleplaying as Police is surprisingly satisfying and easy. Between calls or incidents, find something to do other than drive about in your car. Go down to Fredy's and grab a few burgers and coffee and place them onto the table and sit down, or perhaps you could pull someone over and check their tire pressure or tire tread. You would be allowed to under law 12.6 Vehicle Maintenance.
Or perhaps you could go around properties to make sure that their doors are locked.

Passively roleplaying as Fire Fighter or Road crew.
Before enlisting to FF or Road Crew, bring some props with you. I've seen people create walls around their stations and hold car cleaning sessions from the fire department, and make themselves a staff rooms too with chairs and tables. You could wash people's cars with your fire hose and charge them a few bob or do it for free. It's a lot better than driving your dodge car around.

Passively roleplaying as the Mayor or Secret Service.
As Mayor, do some office work. Calculate taxes or bring a TV to the office and watch a film. Go for a walk in the park and sit down, or bring a fishing rod with you and go fishing down the docks. It's a lot better than driving the limo about waiting until you get wiped out by Walker's latest sports car.
As SS, protect the mayor by bringing in props such as the metal detector. You could really enhance the roleplay by allowing more visitors who are confirmed to have nothing harmful towards the Mayor.
