PLPD 2 - Bug Report before initial release

As many of you know PLPD is going to be replaced soon with a new website developed over the last few months. This allows the PD to make changes we could never do before due to the old site being a clunky mess that people simply did not want to develop with. If you have any suggestions please list them here as we are getting close to the end of the creation of a viable minimum product. This request for suggestions has been open to PLPD Trainers and Command for a while, but I thought it would be good to get community feedback.

Make the new website work better on mobile phones.

More organized and user-friendly handbook + policy layout for easier understanding. A highlight of essentials for newer cops can be great as well.

Highlighting more codes for cops to use to allow higher ups to just refer to that as a guide instead of explain individually to each person what codes are best.

Distinguish police announcements and events more. The main forums for PERPHeads does this well by having the shoutbox be a small text area around the BIG display of what announcement there is.

A diagram built like a skill tree to showcase what paths a officer can go (from PO to officer and so on including all divisions or extra responsibilities that become available with the unique authorities given at each rank or special role) with and an explanation for all the possible medals / achievements an officer can attain would be greatly helpful in explaining more about how the PLPD works + rewards their high-performers.

Make it so we can reply and react to things said in plpd shout box. Also when making a new message to someone directly, add a feature to show a “send direct message” to employees profile so we don’t have to do manual lookup first

I don't have a response to Handbook suggestions by @blobvis 2.0 and @MalekIsWeird cause we havn't started that feature yet, and I don't think we will be having a advanced system for that at launch since its not PLPD critical so its not in the MVP

not sure if this counts but the description / bio of your profile didn't transfer. Before I had "cherries and berries on when I'm wiping the floor with crims" and now it's as if i never changed it.

Also just a suggestion for the resources tab to have a short description of the division with a bigger logo since the current one is tiny. The long description can stay but under a drop down to extend the description.

There’s no observation page, hopefully there will be one

I shouldve specified, I was thinking of private messages, before you could press a little pin icon and it would display those messages up in the list.

please add a timezone translator of some sort. It's always inconvenient if you're not from the UK having to translate 12h into 24h and different timezones.
