Suggestion Title: plpd assistance members.
Suggestion Description: So basically, I noticed when marking taser applications a lot of people that fail don't have English as their first language. That could cause them to potentially not understand a question or not be comfortable enough in English to elaborate further on certain points. I think the purpose of assistance members would be to help people understand questions better. Or, for example, if someone requires assistance that speaks Arabic, then an Arabic assistance member could help out by speaking to the person in Arabic and translating it into English.

Why should this be added?:
- would help people progress further in plpd

What negatives could this have?:
- some assistance members could help the people too much and give answers out.

What problem would this suggestion solve?: People with dyslexia or English as their 2nd language failing applications due to lack of understanding or not being comfortable enough.

This is so true. for sure I agree with this especially with such a diverse player base English skills vary therefore such different dialects such as Arabic make it much harder for players

Not to be like that, but even if they get help on apps, the comms they provide might be to bad and to be frank we can't have any major mess ups because someone doesn't speak the language. English isn't my first language and I have sympathy for the people who struggle with English. But I feel like you should know enough english to know what you are saying/writing

The server requires you to have a decent understanding of English. If people have trouble with understanding the application, they are more than welcome to use a translator or be upfront with the Command Team and work out a different solution. I remember accommodating people with dyslexia/dysgraphia and doing a spoken examination instead of a written one for a Traffic Officer role.

If you are referring to stages taking place on the server, then how are the officers going to actually execute their role effectively while in character.

To sum up: I don't think anything needs to change, but it should be more obvious that people can seek help, by contacting the Command Team in question.

Just a quick message to those who are against it due to believing they won’t be able to speak sufficient English… This isn’t the case for everyone, but many people are able to speak sufficient English but not read/write it well. This is honestly a great idea and maybe just offering a translation of the question into Arabic but requiring the answer in English may be beneficial too.

Yeah, I can think of quite a few players off the top of my head (im not going to name anyone to seem rude) that can speak English brilliantly, but aren't very good at typing it. I also like the idea of different language options on the apps!
