Hey everyone,
I'm debating whether to get a gaming pc sometime this year. I've been building my own rigs for years now and I always try to save here and there, or just not shell out some dosh on a certain part since "my current one is still good". Years later I came to the conclusion that I never had a real beast of a gaming pc, but a few very good ones for their time. I can't remember a time where I could pop on the best looking game and play it on ultra, or just render a movie without fearing my pc will ablaze while my fiery tears will hit the ground setting it on fire.
I'm looking for a good deal. However, I'm not looking to spend more than 800 euros / 610 quid. I've moved a year ago and left my PC in the house as I'm pretty sure my asrock motherboard (AsRock Z77 PRO3) cracked or the processor (i5 2500k 2.66 GHZ) fried. Popped out my power supplier and used a nice paperclip trick to power it on. It worked, so did the graphics card (GF GTX 460 1GB) from what I remember. Essentially, that PC served me well throughout the years, but at the end of its lifetime it became quite faulty. As much as I love setting up my gaming rigs myself, I'd prefer to have an all in one package, which I can just plug in.
What is your general opinion on the plug and play gaming PC's? Does this set seem like a good deal?
I've came to a conclusion that I want a PC that will not only run games and programs with little trouble, but one that will also cooperate with me by letting me stream in great quality.
Welcome to the thread, please share your opinion.
