Randomly losing connectiong before reconnecting to the server

So I have been having an issue, where I disconnect from the server for around 7 secs before it will reconnect me, which causes me issues when driving( as I cannot see where or how I am driving until my connection is fully back) during shootouts as my connection drop forces my character to countinue my last input and that typically will just result in me being rushed or me walking into the line of fire.

Now this is a rather weird case, because I have only really noticed this playing two games, GMOD and Arena Breakout. things such as Apex and GTA 5/FiveM, even during long sessions have not downright lost connection.

Just for contexts sakes, I am using a Wireless Wi-fi Adapter, more specifically, this one: TP-Link Wireless USB Adapter
It is plugged into a USB 2.0 port at the top of my case as that provides the fastest speeds to my knowledge.

Solution
Consider purchasing one of these instead of using wifi, this will likely resolve your issue assuming it's just the wifi adapter's issue because they can just be problematic and I don't know how else to really describe it. It can also result in a far more stable connection than wifi especially for gaming.

Another suggestion is to try use a VPN or potentially using something such as ExitLag, a couple of my friends use ExitLag and have had better connectivity than without it. Sounds bothersome but it's trial and error at this point from the looks of it.
Open CMD and type ipconfig

Then ping the default gateway continuously by doing 'Ping 192.168.x.x -t"
Is the latency stable? Does it get too high?

Then do the same thing with 'Ping 8.8.8.8 -t'
Is the latency stable as well? Does it timeout?

You can update the firmware on the TP link itself
This has not resolved the issue

Seems to be stable when I had tried it with no packet loss or latency issues.

In addition to this, I have also restarted my router, Reinstalled GMOD, changed USB slots on my case, none of which has had any effect.

If the firmware update didn't work this will be your best bet

Or try change over to 5ghz if you can

Exitlag has worked and resolved the issue.
