Main Idea: Redesigning Glass Co and Parker

Full description of the idea: Redesigning the layout of the two buildings

Why should it be added?: The current designs/layouts have stayed almost the same since V2 and it's gotten a bit stale.

Pros: Freshens up the buildings and gives them some love by making it feel new

Cons: Unnecessary changes I guess

i've been messing around in hammer the past week so here's a video of my proposal (ignore some of the shifted textures it's a bug)


still some things to iron out but thats the general idea i had
 
i feel like this makes them too open unless you have like an entire storage of props
 
I like it except:

- Remove the truck from outside of glass co it’s fucking dumb sitting there wtf.
- Add another entrance to glass co.
- The way those crates are stacked in glass co would allow someone to shoot elevated. Not a massive issue but it’d be annoying.

Idk, Parker and glass co as is could be fixed by removing all the props not stuffed in corners But I do kinda like the open space of these ones.

I like this cause of the 4 entrances in the current map it is useless because all the props at one entrance get blown up and put in storage. This would make Parker viable again
 
The only place I could think of putting an extra road that isn't too forcing

but sadly a lot of the cliff area had to be destroyed and reconstructing it... isn't particularly easy.
 
Still some things to do but it doesn't feel too bad actually, I bandaided most of the cliff stuff, it's super scuffed but you'd never see it unless you're in noclip, minus a few things still left to fix that you probably can see. The way parker tunnel is built makes it an actual nightmare.

(dont mind how fucked parker textures are lol)

 
Looks great with the openness, gives space for more creative prop placement.
