Regarding the use of bodycams/dashcams

This thread is to set a solid benchmark on one of the relatively common things that happens on the server, quite commonly in interactions with the police (who have already received a private memo on the matter - which is essentially copy pasted here )

This has been confirmed by Moron in the past: you need the physical image/video to hand to utilize it in RP. That means it's fine to use a dashcam or bodycam to the extent that they would realistically be used (i.e. not to testify against the shooter you saw in third person over the hedge, for example! or the felony you saw in your driver side window!), as long as you actually upload the still image/footage at the time for review. Otherwise, it's too subjective and it doesn't give the whole picture of the situation.

TL;DR - DO NOT CONDONE '/me bodycam /desc there was drugs!' OR '/me dashcam /desc he crashed into me'
