Police Suggestion RTU Transit

Suggestion Title: RTU Transit
Suggestion Description: Add a Transit for the Road Traffic Unit that can aid with Traffic Ops.

Currently we have to hand make alot of things to create a speed trap/RTU RP set up. I think it would encourage RTU to start more operations if they had a specialised vehicle.

In the ideal world the transit would have a built in speed camera but would work fine without.

I have made a mock skin so you can see my thoughts...

Why should this be added?:
- More Speed Traps
-More RTU Features
-More reason to train up to be RTU
-Less Speeders

What negatives could this have?:
-More tickets for you pesky crims!

You guys have several specialized vehicles already, I’m failing to see how a transit is going to help you conduct speed traps better?

There is hardly any exclusivity to Patrol obviously because its a vanilla division as it always has been and will be, and you want to take one of the vehicles that we have to help you conduct speed traps better *somehow*

At this point, give patrol officers speed cameras

The transit is already a thing for police and you can customize it how you want and what material you want.

Its again a work for staff,and why if there is already transit van for police officers?

Unmarked Transit Van is not available to RTU, just so you know.

Honestly if I'm criminal I wouldn't give a single care about a Transit chasing up to me. Unmarked Transit and Golf GTI from patrol would probably serve as better and more reasonable addition to RTU. Increasing the ANPR range would also be quite helpful but a built in speed camera for a slow transit is not a good option and purely useless.

I don't think RTU need anything else at this point and don't think its entirely fair they keep getting new stuff. For a huge period of time RTU was the only division that saw updates that benefitted them. The only Updates TFU Got since 2019 were a new gun and a huge nerf. This transit would serve no purpose within RTU that cannot already be done with existing vehicles.

I don't see how having a "Speed trap" car that can't chase most cars capable of speeding in residential areas as a beneficial vehicle.

They're the most pampered division in the PD. I don't think they need more features.

-More reason to train up to be RTU

RTU Already hold the overwhelming majority of supervisors in the PD, we don't need more reason. If anything, we need less so Patrol has supervisors en masse.

If you think a plumbers work van is going to stop me doing 110 past bazaar you've got another thing coming.

atm i dont see what is the point of having RTU the only thing that i can see and have benefit is the SLR all other thing nothing even "speed traps" i can't remember last time i sow cop doing it

To make this realistic, this would have to be implemented as some kind of automated system where the van is parked and tickets are sent in the post or something.

I don't really see how any of that is going to make it a more enjoyable experience on the server, and is going to take a lot of effort to develop.
