I want to raise this respectfully, because I genuinely enjoy the server and want the RP to feel as consistent as possible.
Rule 3.15 says we must drive stolen vehicles to the best of our ability and avoid crashes, with exceptions only when survival is at stake. That makes sense for a civilian in a chase.
But here's the tension in a serious life RP, a criminal who just stole a car knows the city has an active, well equipped police force. The realistic response isn't drive carefully so I don't crash it's get rid of this car as fast as possible, because every second I keep it is a second closer to a felony charge.
So the rule, as written, asks criminals to behave like cautious drivers rather than like people who just committed a crime. In real life, a stolen car is a liability, not a vehicle you treat gently. The moment cops are on the server, the logical move is to ditch it, swap it, or abandon it not to preserve it.
I'm not asking for the rule to be removed. I'm suggesting the RP would feel more consistent if the rule acknowledged that keeping a stolen vehicle is itself a risk, and that abandoning it is a valid, realistic choice not just an exception for survival.
Happy to hear how staff see it. Just wanted to put the thought out there constructively.
That framing I enjoy the server, here's a consistency question, not a complaint is what keeps it from reading as rule lawyering or an attack on staff.
