Should we have more ranks?

So like PD has there rank system should the FD and EMS be allowed ranks. I don't think its fair to only have PD with ranks, It will also make it more realistic. What do you think?

I feel that there is little need. The max medics / firemen you can have is 4, which means they are very easy to control. This is different when you're police, dealing with numerous situations as well as having 10 officers, 2 sergeants and 4 SWAT under your command.

I think it has been brought up before the problem is that the police is the largest force while the rest sometimes they are not on duty. They could be added in but the concern is usage.
