[SOLVED] Auto recording demo...

Are there any way or commands so i could disable auto recording, it ruins my fps, and also takes alot of hard drive space. i've tryed google but i cant find anything there so i was hoping you guys might had some advice so i could disable auto recording...

I don't really recommend disabling the recording of demo's but if you really want to, here is a simple bind how to stop a demo that is currently being recorded, type this into your console or autoexec.cfg

bind F8 "stop"

Pressing F8 stops the current record, replace F8 with any key you like.

Hey Nizma, its not advised that you stop the recording of a demo due to their important role within the administration process of the server and will play a key part in your defence if required and I'm sure its not the primary reason behind your FPS lag. However if you really want to stop the demo from recording the best thing I can suggest is to bind a key on your keyboard to send the 'stop' command - this will stop the demo recording.
