Description of the idea:
Give TFU light gear officers who are ranked SGT+ a beret similar to the current heavy gear beret but darker to match the colour scheme of the hat.
Why should this be added? (pros):
Would look cooler
Easier identification of supervisors from a distance
What negatives could this have? (cons):
What if people prefer just the hat?
Description of the idea:
Give heavy gear TFU a light helmet, mask and goggles.
The old SWAT player model > TFU model. By miles.

Goggles:
The primary purpose of the eye protection would be to protect the eyes of course. The tinting is to protect against the effects of flash and stun grenades. Other threats against the face include attacks from chemicals, from firing weapons, and shrapnel and dust in the event of gunfire breaking walls and the likes.
Balaclava:
The primary purpose of a balaclava is to prevent terrorist organisations from identifying the officer off duty. It is also used for concealment purposes in terms of camouflage. Modern day balaclavas can also protect against chemical agents and some can even fuck with thermal and infrared spotting technology.
Helmet:
As you can see from the photo, the helmet is not necessarily a ballistic helmet, but could probably withstand small arms fire. A helmet like this would work best as TFU no longer have head armour. The primary purpose of the helmet is to protect against blunt force trauma, to protect the head of the wearer if they get knocked down, and to prevent against physical attacks. Another purpose for them is in the event of officers having to enter confined spaces, they won’t have to worry about bumping their heads.
Radio:
The hands free radio system is pretty self explanatory.
ALL of these things were on the old SWAT player model which was modded off of the seal team 6 model from CSS. You could quite easily take the old SWAT Model and make it the head for TFU, and retexture it to match the colour scheme of the old uniform
