elaboratePD hostage changes have actually made the PD raid problem worse.
elaborate
Because before they wasted your time to just end up shooting you anyways.
I believe Crim mains add spice to the RP, irl criminals will always be wilding and police deal with worse than a lil pd raid :skull:It’s refreshing to see the truth being spoken.
I also particularly enjoyed this part of the post
At the end of the day nothing is going to change. Crim mains are gonna keep doing what they do and scream “PD OP just communicate better and PD have free guns” while they PD wipe nonstop 24/7 and create absolutely abhorrent montages that should be banned. SMT claims they want more RP stuff to happen but I’ve seen shitty montages on the monthly update that’s posted every month. Change starts at the top but that isn’t going to happen.
In order to even have any enjoyment on PD you have to downright ignore every single shootout just to have a chance to even play the game and even then it’s a toss up if the traffic stop ends in a shooting which happens. Crim mains wanted for 7+ year crimes drive like fucking maniacs around the city and when they get lit up by PD it’s instant shot dead enjoy doing nothing for a bit time. It’s exhausting and annoying. I get on here to play a game not spend more then half my time doomscrolling because the city has more shootings then the city of Chicago.
#CrimMainsRuinEverything
Ah yes could you tell me how often your local police department is broken into and have tons of officers murdered? You are delusionalI believe Crim mains add spice to the RP, irl criminals will always be wilding and police deal with worse than a lil pd raid :skull:
Do you even play the server?I believe Crim mains add spice to the RP, irl criminals will always be wilding and police deal with worse than a lil pd raid :skull:
I see where your coming from but ts is just a game broAh yes could you tell me how often your local police department is broken into and have tons of officers murdered? You are delusional
"It's just a game" A game that's not fucking enjoyable because we have esports players ruining the game. Perpheads is ruined by them because they are trying to the top spot on Game's leaderboard. I bet half the sweats in this server can't even get a spot on the employee of the month because half of them are unemployed retards. This server is not enjoyable because of them. Basing alone is impossible because you have like 8 of them raiding you at once. I generally don't remember the last time I actually sat down and enjoyed a day of perp because I literally fucking haven't lately. Yet I had half of them telling me "Skill issue" "Get better" where I literally can't when like 90% of them are gunning me tf down during a raid. Doesn't matter what the devs fix/Nerf in this game. The esports players will find a loophole to get around the fixes or nerfs. It's not just PLPD that's a joke the entire server is a fucking jokeI see where your coming from but ts is just a game bro
The most stupid thing about all these arguements and debates is finding a middle ground on how much realism should be added. Like first its a "Serious RP" server so I expect there to be some, you know, serious, real RP. On the other hand, its fucking garrys mod, its a video game, a very silly video game at its core. So i find it very annoying to figure out what is fun but also realistic.
At the end of the day, I dont think we will ever find a permanent solution to most of the stuff we find are issues. The solutions will always upset some people and make other happy, I dont believe that perp will ever be a perfect game, it can be fun and silly but not perfect.
Shoot the hostage takers, Fuck what the policy sayselaborate
Because before they wasted your time to just end up shooting you anyways.
It's a game LOL some people are taking this way too deepAh yes could you tell me how often your local police department is broken into and have tons of officers murdered? You are delusional
I wonder fucking whyRecently, theres definetly been a decline on how many cops have been online at once.
ok so u restrict crim from being able to do fuck all, and then ur gonna make a new post complaining that being on pd is dead because nothing ever happensI can’t say much I’m at work but this
PD AND bank raids should count towards raid timer
Should be limited to 1 an hour
Should only be allowed if they are booked for murder
You shouldn’t be allowed to act on a 10 toes call if they are in the jails and your in lobby.
I’ll think of more later on when I’m home
He makes montages that rot your brain and that’s about itDo you even play the server?
I think we've all had internal discussions about the police department and the raids in general just being unbearable. There really is no downtime, where you could drive around, chill and be petty to the most random civilians.
What do we do to fix it? And how do we not make the game not fun for civilians by doing so?
We are trying to bring some changes to RTU, which is a bit more of a larpy division in order to allow people to do stuff other than shootouts.
Either that or add other fun little things to it, like FishingPVP is mostly the main thing that keeps this server alive due to how fun it is.
However, dedicating your whole life, either rotting inside a base for hours on end or constantly raiding just to be at the top of a leaderboard (while ruining the experience of other players) is just cringe.
Hot Take: Removing the org leaderboard as a whole will make things nicer in my opinion, reducing how competitive and sweaty some goofballs are, including the amount of raids, leaving room for RP, not only on the PLPD side, but in general.
