Update Log 15/07/2022

It is not unnecessary, it even has a relatively big gameplay change, i.e. no more massive prediction errors after playing any animations (including lockpicking). I'm sure you'd notice that one too if you still played.
I've never experienced any issues with the old animations and it's been like that for ages,I doubt I'll actually notice any difference with the updated animations even if I still played on the server, I have no idea what do you mean by massive prediction errors and how did that change anything so please elaborate on that. the only problem I came across when I still played was when a player crouches whilst bandaging his head is elsewhere than what you actually see on your screen so when you attempt to shoot at the big head of his it'd hit his body instead but even then that animation bug used to happen very rarely so it wasn't really a burden, but has this update log had any impact and fixed the issue I've described?

Why don't you just try surrendering in-game and then walk around after? You will notice the difference immediately.

I don't think we are the only ones but anyway I'll state what I think about it I personally thought that I'm playing spot the difference for a second when I first looked at the videos that were posted above, and I seriously think that this update log was unnecessary and it should of just been added to the server silently because if we are all honest here I doubt anyone that plays would of actually noticed these minor changes, but on the other hand this post proves that the server gets updated very consistently if you base it off the recent update that the server has just received, and another benefit of that is that'll also give the community members an higher anticipation for the upcoming updates, that is if the server will keep getting updated consistently.
These things take hours, if not, days to develop and people are always interested in changelogs. Be thankful that someone is putting the time and effort into something because they can keep expanding that knowledge to create features in proper updates. Small updates like this are always welcomed, it’s reassuring to know the server is still being worked on so there’s more to expect BTS. It’s not like there was any code change either, it’s just Lelios doing gods work.

Does this also work for when the model goes in a ragdoll state when killed for example? Always noticed the transition between that being pretty bad, it's like the model disappears for a moment and gets respawned as a ragdoll in a t-pose.

The body is an effect and has to render, but for quite a long time now the ragdolls do react somewhat to what they were doing before they died, dropping from the position and direction they were shot in (if stationary) or falling in the direction of movement they were moving in if they died running, jumping or walking.
