Punishment Type: Warning
Appeal Type: Dispute[Evidence] Bomb being placed infront of garage not on cars. Evidence 2 (raid i did after showing i was trying to raid but first one was foiled) Evidence 3 ( Bomb dropped infront of garage )
Which staff member issued the punishment?: @Headline
How long were you banned/blacklisted for?: Not Applicable

Why were you punished?: 2.5 - User tried to bomb raid a property but failed to take precautions on his bomb placement effectively blowing up two cars whilst giving up on the raid as well.
Why should this appeal be considered?: I was punished because i placed timed explosive trying to raid a residence, it also happened to result in 2 of the people im raiding cars blowing up.
I was under the impression the garage door would open and i would be able to go inside and start raiding from a different spot then the front door where its usually barricaded and has lights etc. that is why i placed my explosive there. it also had a big enough explosion to damage the people insides vehicles. it wasnt due to me being negative and i didnt damage any non residents vehicle. it also says i gave up on the raid. that is sort of true in a sense. When the garage door did not open i had no tools to lockpick or crowbar anything else, just a gun and a zipties so i had kind of scrambled, police showed up within 30 seconds or less literally. i had no choice but to move on to another spot to try and raid. I went on to raid another place and got shot through the door, i did place that C4 straight on the persons door after realizing that's probably the only spot i can place them and open things. after this is all said and done 15 minutes later i get pulled up questioned, told i need to be more careful etc. which i will in the future. but im disputing the fact that i was not being negative, i did not harm anyone's belongings that were not involved in such raid.
this took place at the building right by the docks, not the apartments or PPS place.
Additional Information:
I want to clarify that my intent was to raid, and I did not aim to cause excessive damage or negativity to uninvolved players. Here’s my side:

I want to clarify that my intent was to raid, and I did not aim to cause excessive damage or negativity to uninvolved players. Here’s my side:
- The explosive was placed in front of the garage, with the intention to breach and enter from a different angle than the main entrance, which is usually fortified.
- The garage did not open, and the blast unintentionally destroyed two of the residents vehicles parked nearby. No uninvolved player items were damaged, which aligns with the rule’s expectations.
- I did not abandon the raid out of intent to grief or cause damage. I lacked tools (no lockpick/crowbar), and police arrived within 30 seconds. Given the situation, I quickly moved on to attempt another raid elsewhere.
- In that second raid, I placed explosives properly on a door and engaged as expected, but was eliminated before completing it.
- I was pulled off by staff 15 minutes later and warned. I was told to be more careful, which I absolutely will be. but I’d like to dispute the idea that I was being excessively negative or not attempting to raid properly.
- The vehicles damaged were owned by residents I was raiding, not uninvolved players.
- I had no intent to grief or disrupt without purpose. I was actively trying to raid within the mechanics allowed.
- I understand the concerns about bomb placement, and I’ll ensure better caution moving forward, but I believe this situation does not breach Rule 2.5, as I did not impact uninvolved players and did not act with excessive negativity.
- I didn’t “give up” for no reason. the door didn’t open, police arrived, and I raided elsewhere immediately after.
