will my pc atleast get 30-60 fps?

but how do people cope? whenever on high pop i literally get 5fps and i get shouted at for barely being able to steer a car because of my lag. i do try some configs but they only increase fps by 5 or so

What are your current specs for your PC?
Is it what you just posted in this thread?

To my knowledge, Garrys Mod is mainly CPU-intensive. High Pop is always going to be difficult for FPS.

A 1050ti is very outdated, it's also a 75W card meaning it needs no additional 6/8 plug adapter, it would be underpowered
1050ti at 1080p no chance, maybe at 720p
A 1050ti can run plenty of games at 1080p including Gmod, obviously an 8 year old card wouldn't be able to run modern AAA games though. It would definitely be able to run older hardware friendly games like GTA5, roblox, minecraft to name a few.
It's also worth noting that Gmod is CPU bound, graphics card will not heavily affect performance.
It is a lower tier system, I would try to look at more deals on other websites, considering its a 4 core cpu it wont run perpheads well. @Mr.Noblor

i am running perp with a i7-14700k, rtx 4070ti and 32gb 6000mhz ram, i max out at 140-150 fps but when full pop and drive by bazzar it drops to around 30 fps. Well, there is a significant drop either way if its full pop or not.

those fire extinguishers making you bank

Ignore @Shaquille Oatmeal he’s lying, 1050ti and ur i7 will run perp, you’ll get between 15-30 on a full server depending on location, if you want a suggestion I’d look for a ryzen system depending on what your budget is for the new pc because all these components are already 4-5 years out of date, especially your processor, just because its an i7 does not make it good, considering we’re also on what 12-13th gen now? Someone with tech know how help me out

Consider spending your money on a more higher tier amd CPU (3700x or higher) with a decent gpu like a 2060 or 3060. I understand you might not have the budget for it, but the build you are currently describing is like buying a 20 year old car that won't pass it's yearly inspection in a few months. You're going to regret not saving up for more.

Realise that the i7 6700 is a cpu released in 2015. Its over 9 years old.

lmao why would i lie? its literally the performance i get

Hello, i would probably say that you'll run 30 fps and above with the setup you're wishing to upgrade to.
I just think that your setup that you're wishing for is gonna be a very short term setup, as the graphics card you want is from 2016 and the cpu is from 2017.
I would much rather suggest you search for newer generations of cpu and a mid-range newer graphics card, of course im not the one to decide this just suggesting as it will put you a bit stuck in a generation and not future proof you, and the components will lose value in a few years from my research.
My brother plays perp aswell and has a gtx 1660 super and a ryzen cpu which im not sure which one, i would probably suggest a Intel i5-12400F and the gtx 1660 super if thats within your budget, it will run you 50 fps and above in a few instances on perpheads, and it will future proof you for the maybe next 4 years maximum.

So in short i don't recommend buying the Intel Core i7-6700 and NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti to replace your current setup.
I would much rather recommend buying a NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super and an Intel i5-12400F if your budget is low/mid-range.

But in the end it's all your choice. Try researching a bit yourself and you'll see what i'm trying to say here.

Just a reminder, even though the setup you wish for probably will get a 25-35 fps, it's not very good for perpheads.
You will be having a hard time during full server where it might go to 20 fps or under, driving and combat will also be hard during small spikes.
When v6 comes out i think you will be having an even harder time to play the game with the setup you wish for i believe.

If you need help or something else slide me a dm, i'll happily help and give suggestions to you.

my limit is 500 pounds since im british im trying to find the best pc deal for perp that will get my atleast the standard amount
