Hi there, so at the moment I'm using a 650 ti and a amd 6600k and get around 10 fps when lots of cars are around. I'm now about to upgrade to a I5 - 4570, GTX 760, 8GB RAM. I was wondering if I'd get AT LEAST 20 fps in areas with many cars such as PD when it's busy or something. If it can, what FPS should I be getting around?

You shouldn't have a problem, I have a setup that is almost identical and I usually run at 40-50fps. There must be a real clusterfuck going on before it will ever drop below 20 fps

it's the optimisation of the game itself so you'll still probably get around 9fps in the main city and such.
How about in gun fights? normally in guns fights it drops horrendously.

All of these people are morons. You won't be able to reach shit with your new computer, gmod is all based on single core performance from your CPU, my i5 3570 sits fucking idle and my gtx 980 sits at 20% usage while playing perp, the problem is not that your computer is bad its that gmod runs a mostly single core engine dumping all of its work on 1 core and leaving the others to do fuck all. Your new computer won't help you in any single core game, that includes gmod, arma and more.

Don't do the same mistake as me, don't get an AMD. Even though i get 50-500 fps it's still a scam.
