I’m an intrigued to know what everyone’s daily driver is! Or even if you just have a fun weekend car. Right now I own a 2015 Hyundai sonata and a bmw z3 drop top!

The xc90 is a dream of mine tbh. Volvos definitely lost the following of Volvo :(. I’m big on Lincoln’s specifically a 2010 navigator!
It’s such an awesome car, guessing you are in the US!?

We don’t see many Lincoln’s round in the UK.

XC90 genuinely the best car I’ve ever used, yeah it’s slow and boring but the practicality is just insane!

£120 to fill her up atm though!!

Yeah man Volvos are “kinda” rare in the us but not really lol just not nearly as popular as other countries. That’s brutal gas wise lol. To fill up my sonata it’s about 45 usd and I average 35 mpg on highway haha it’s been a unit so far.

They got rough build up quality but undeniable difference in gas vs ev prices lol. Damn near makes up for it atp
Yeah looking at those older Teslas they were a bit hard to keep past 5 years before falling apart like legos which is not something you want from a car... New ones are a tad bit better but still mass produced in China and some in Mexico now with no crazy drastic improvement. I've saved enough money maintenance and gas wise to the point where I can say the car has almost paid itself off

Luckily maintenance shops have popped up that specialize in battery replacements for EVs. Before that it was bacially total the entire car lol.

That does help, my battery went out at 99k miles right before warranty so I have a fresh pack and not too worried about battery going bad. Had it not been under warranty though... 13K REPAIR.... (WITHOUT LABOR) Can see why Elon is so rich!

He loves his cheap overseas labor. Unfortunately he kinda has a monopoly on EVs in the states lol. Even POLESTAR a Volvo based brand struggle and I belive left the US market :(

Yeah all of the other EV brands scrambled away, plus he got all the help, hugeeee incentives. It's hard to see another EV company compete as much but i'm really hoping to see brands like BYD in the states. That does not seem likely at the moment, but their cars for the price look legit!

China kinda dominated the EV market in the past years lol. They make some crazy shit for the same price at US vehicles!

2014 Tesla model S. Not the one from the wheel, that one is still standing strong.

366.000kms and 3 years, still buzzin. (I drive about 80.000km a year)
