Good news, "FPS update" is nearly complete and ready to ship! Bad news, NPCs look very strange in demos, but meh.. Players look normal.
So many of you know the command "gmod_mcore_test 1" to boost FPS however it has problems. We are nearly done with a fix for them! FPS boost!
Are crashes and out of memory errors still being investigated/fixed? I'm still having a ton of issues with this, it's borderline intolerable, at least for some.
As per the shoutbox MOTD, car dealer car colors will change this weekend. So if you haven't changed from default, it will cost money after
Can I ask if some1 tells me to reinstall my content to fix my meesed up berets does that mean go into addon delete everything to do with perp then go onto steam worshop and subscribe again?
Some tweaks to drug dealer NPC to be a bit more interesting. Smaller NPC chat bubble thing. Fixed car dealer buy/sell car not showing up.
When I press F1 the rules and law tabs are blank, aswell as tutorials and FAQ. Do you know how to fix this?
Will guns going straight into attack stance when pulled out be fixed anytime soon?
Do you think it's possible the TVs are causing crashes? I haven't crashed all day today and also haven't seen one TV all day, but when I put one down after hours of playing and put on a video and crashed.
To just let everyone know, our main focus now is crafting and all car dealer menus overhaul. This should reduce most crashes potentially.
Added some things for admins that were requested awhile back and recently, and *fingers crossed* names will show in demos now above heads
How do I get the new models for the police cars? I still have the old ones.
So many ideas, so little time... Today I may try to sift through TDM to see what all he has changed to complicate my life. Hope nothing big.
This is an age old statement and you said this for the evo map. Out of curiosity though, do you think there will be a change of something like that in the future, separating the real estate agents from the bank? Considering the reduced amount of activity in the bank it would lead to and so on? https://perpheads.com/threads/evobankapp.573/#post-5202 (Referring to your reply)
Hello Stephen just going back to this thread here https://perpheads.com/threads/car-bug.17693/#post-123569 I got a question on how to disable TDM cars?
Well I wasn't given the list of guns for police until late, so I'm afraid that will be on Monday. Although cooking meth/fish is fixed
Given all the events that unfolded this week, I didn't update police armory yet. Will do for Sunday however. Still working to fix crash too.
Done a few fixes so far, shooting range should be all working and set to go tomorrow. Secret service also now has two different guns instead
Well in hopes that we could get a fix out for police ranks/badges floating it seems there was a problem. Expect restart later probably. -
