Hello
Today I got a bluescreen message 0x00000024 (NTFS FILE SYSTEM)
the computer has worked propperly a day prior and for the past copule of years.

I have scanned system files for corruption with no faults, could this be an issue with my hard drive or is there another fix?

Seeing that it's file system related you'll probably need to wipe your hard drive and reformat it.

Check your harddrive cables, unplug and plug them back in. Make sure your computer isn't overheating. Try reinstalling windows. If problem continues then your harddrive has probably seen it's last day and you are gonna need a new one.

Judging by the blue screen you're getting, you're using Windows 98.

Update:
I tried playing a simple game like Minecraft, after some time the PC went into power saving mode randomly. After a restart I ran MC again and got another blue screen along the lines of PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA which makes no sense since I have not installed new software in 2 months or new hardware in 6 months.

I type it up on the internet and there's almost one identical to the first one you posted, apart from the one you're experiencing says, "A problem has been detect", not "detected". On the subject of grammar, there are a flaws to it and makes me think it's some sort of malware. Another thing that's fishy is that it says disable any anti-virus which makes it more suspicious.

Try the following:
- Open your start menu and type "cmd", right click, and select "Open as Administrator"
- Run the following command: chkdsk /f C:

This may a while (ranging from a few minutes to a few hours, do this when you have time!)
If this fails, or Windows crashes when executing this command, do the following:
- Shut down your PC
- Press the power button, keep pressing F8 until you are prompted to boot into safe mode (tap that button like you tap the PLPD)
- Repeat the steps in the first section

If this still doesn't solve the problem, you should probably just re-install Windows with a clean format (back-up your important files to an USB stick or another permanent medium)
