Are airplanes scary?

I was talking in the shoutbox complaining that my flight from Jackson Hole was taking to long, when all of a sudden people started saying planes are scary. I want other peoples' opinions, are planes scary?

No not really, it's literally just a form of transport there is nothing scary about it. As long as you don't fly over Syria then you'll be alright.

So basicly u cant go over turkey, ukraine, syria, egypt and other countries. Malaysian likes taking who o who can find me in the ocean or who can shoot me first tours. Korean airlines always crashes, u get jetlag and it costs alot. And they fly into unstable towers. Where are the good points?

Airplanes aren't and never will be scary unless you're flying on a Russian Airline.

Being a person that travels a lot because of work and all that, I really don't find them scary nor do I see how someone could find them scary as they're just another form of transportation. I rather enjoy flying then any other transportation except for driving tbh. But yeah, that's just me.
