Suggestion Title: Choose org/own bank account via cash register when selling
Suggestion Description: When selling an item through the cash register in Bazaar or Business Shops, there should be a new option in the selling menu which allows a player to choose whether upon selling an item, the money goes into their own personal bank account or their organisation bank account instead, with the player's own bank account being selected by default.
I have included a list of advantages and negatives but if any more arise from the discussion below I will add them to the lists respectively.
Why should this be added?:
- Would allow crafting or commercial organisations such as The Smith's, Yoshida Corporation, Santiago Guns etc. to place all weapons for display in organisation storage and sell them to the benefit of the entire organisation.
- Prevents players from having to create their own ledgers or spreadsheets if they don't want to as items sold would appear in the Transaction Log for the organisation bank account.
- A general Quality of Life improvement for these types of organisations that even if not widely adopted, at least gives them more options in how they want to collaborate with each other and sell items.
- Could also potentially add a check value whereby if a player does not have permission to access the organisation bank account, they are unable to use this as an option.
- Could potentially change text colour or add some other indication as to whether it is being sold by an individual or an organisation to potential buyers, which may inform their buying decisions and create positive relations between buyers and selling organisations.
What negatives could this have?:
- Not a catch-all solution that still does not prevent players in organisations from taking items out of organisation storage and selling them purely for their own benefit, meaning that a trust factor would still be needed and internal rules for the organisation.
- As the transaction log on bank accounts contains limited information, players and organisations still may choose to have their own ledgers/spreadsheets which devalues one of the benefits of the suggestion.
- Players may accidentally choose to have funds go into an organisation account which they may not have access to depending on organisation permissions, unless this option only becomes available when they themselves can access the organisation bank account.
- May make finding certain logs for transactions for staff members more difficult as there would be another line of enquiry to be taken, and thus make it harder to create a paper trail.
- Not sure how the current code is set out but this would not only require a code change but also a UI change for the selling menu itself.
