Hi, well raiding is fairly easy.

But defending on other hand gives me goosebumps, can i get your experience tips how to defend a base properly?

As a person who's been playing shooters for years, a key tip is be unpredictable.
During the raid, move around if you spot an opportunity, it forces the raiders to have to clear more spots before they realise you are right there shooting at them.

Never base solo. If possible, teamspeak with the defenders, co-ordinate reloads, try to plan moves out but never rush out if you're ever unsure.

Prefires. If you ever peek slums/projex doorway, prefire the sides of the door, it's wallbangable and if you've seen in my most recent montage, shooting at the doorway as I swung helped me get 2 kills.

Weapon choice. Use what you feel comfortable with, preferably something with a 20-30 round mag.
This includes sako, ak47 and 101, scar, or my personal favorite, the G3A3 (high cost).
Make sure it shoots decently fast and aim for the head, preserve ammo and don't waste mags.

Defending should be easier than raiding

If it’s not, there’s a few reasons;

Your defence is shit
Your aim is shit
You were distracted & didn’t hear the Bobby pin
You were raided by someone better than you

There’s some really common defences that are great to use, learn those.

Don’t forget to grab some nades & flashbangs… they are great as a defender too

No jokes aside, I would genuinely recommend watching some of the montages posted on the forum. See how others play, learn their techniques, and try to adapt them to your own style. Don't just copy but add your own flair and creativity to actually get the over hand.

I've been playing here since 2016, and I still get goosebumps every time a raid happens. It's one of the most exciting parts of the game and the most unpredictable, intense, and sometimes even a little scary moments of the game.

But when i defend i usually run back and forth between the storage to get nades and spam while my ''team'' gives suppresive fire

For me when defending, my heart rate increases and I basically get tunnel vision. It's the thrill of whether you'll get that next kill or whether you'll win that defend is the thing we all thrive for.

Honestly the best thing you can do is to base with people who know about defending. Just by being with them you will learn a lot of useful stuff very quickly.
