Hi y'all it's me again,

A post to find some interesting and funny replies for a change.

Have you ever had encounters/experiences with the Police in IRL if so what?
Can be anything from getting caught commiting a crime to just a funny thing to state. Curious to see who are both IC and IRL criminals ;)

I'll start with my own experience:
About 3 weeks ago at 3:30 AM I got my drivers license taken away by the coppers for driving to fast. True criminal yes. Other than the hefty fine I hope to be driving again in 2 months.

I responded to a pager alert and went over to the psyche ward (I worked in the geriatric psyche ward just right next door) to see a fine gentleman get escorted by two police men that took him under his shoulders with a paper bag stuck onto his head. Next thing I see is how he gets locked and fixed with all 4 of his limbs on a bed with everyone watching and about 20 hospital staff being around :)

My personal encounters were boring. I was caught "using" my phone when all I did was accept a call and use my hands-free bluetooth system that almost every car comes with, 10 euro fine but I'll take that any day compared to the usual 100 euro+ fine and a point on the register.

i got harassed by police again for walking home from work last night 2nd time they have followed me home and spoke too me after work

I got off a train on my way to college and 6 armed officers stormed the carriage I just came from.

I got pulled over 4 months ago for doing 65MPH in a 50MPH zone. Only reason I didn't get a ticket is because he was hiding in someone's private driveway with his lights off at midnight. Even got the whole thing recorded on my dashcam to lol

I was allowed to attend a Police Internship here in Vienna. In the Morning we gathered at a Police Station and followed Police Officers on their Footpatrol. We got to meet mulitple branches of the Police Forces and went into headquaters of those various branches. Was pretty nice getting to see how they work.

Not really directly experienced it in the sense of needing to talk to them or something but;

I went to this abandoned house near a train station with two of my friends and my girlfriend, we decided just to mess around and explore the house a bit when one of my friends got to the bright idea to break into a bigger building that was a little minute away from the abandoned house, so, we go there through some thorns and shit, but the door doesn't budge and there's no way of going inside, so we go back up.

Turns out my girlfriend lost the car key, keep in mind it is 00:30 right now and we're all tired, thirsty, bored and we just wanna go home. Two or so hours passed and we've been sweeping the place for the tenth time when an angered man yells from his window asking what we were doing; so I say " we're looking for a key " in broken German, how fucking stupid do you have to be to say that, who believes some 20-year-olds trespassing looking for a key?

Anyways, he said he'd call the police so we leave, turns out the car wasn't locked ( my girlfriend drives a rather scuffed Dacia, I clicked on the car lock button three times and luckily it didn't lock at all before we left to go to that abandoned house ) so, we make our way to the car as one of my friends calls his dad, we all sit inside of the car resting and I decide to sit outside for a couple of minutes.

I look to my left, the place where we came from was a little fenced wall and I see some flashlights around that area, so I open the door and I go " guys, why are there flashlights at the place we just came from? " I get pulled inside the car, and suddenly there are 3-4 police cars patrolling the area; one passes, then another and another, they didn't care to stop and look through the windows though, so we hide there and I am having the time of my life, I look up and just watch car after car passing us, in the end, there were probably 6 or so Polizei cars that were looking for us for 10-15 mins before they gave up.

45 or so minutes pass, the friend's dad arrives and we jump into his minivan like we just broke into someone's house and committed the biggest heist in the world.

living in the middle of nowhere police encounters are pretty rare but i was searched at college once as their sniffer dog liked the smell of my backpack i guess :penguin:

only once, the cause was that i denied to give my id to shithead harassing cop...it ended, me being at police station, they naked me, to search for drugs.... well they did that to annoy me...

ofc it came back as 0
