Entrances to suburbs houses

Description of the idea: In the rule it states you need to have 2 main entrances to the building. In suburbs house you have 4 doors. Which means you can block off 2. We decided to block off balcony and the back door. Then admins come tell us we can't block those off because there are 2 floors, so we need to leave all the doors open. Which just sounds ridiculous. So what our whole gang thought was we have the main door and garage door open. But apparently that is not allowed.

Why should this be added? (pros): It is almost impossible to defend all 4 doors

What negatives could this have? (cons): Harder to raid bases

You already can do this on all properties with 3+ entrances except the suburbs houses, as there are only 2 access points leading to the storage chest.

You are perfectly allowed to block off the back door and either the garage or the front door, as you still have 2 open areas leading to the storage chest.

Just to clarify, you're allowed to block off the balcony as long as you aren't using the top floor for anything. The reason you need to leave it unobstructed is because you need two entrances to the 'main area' that you're basing with, be that the top floor, bottom floor or both. I think this is good because its unfair if you're basing on the top floor to make them have to come up the stairs where they can easily be killed and the balcony adds a good alternative entrance.

TL;DR - If you are using the top floor to grow, you need to leave the balcony unobstructed so there are 2 entrances to the 'main area'. If you aren't using it for anything then you can block it off.

What flugs said. No-one says you have to leave all 4 entrances open. You need at least 2 entrances to the main area. So if you have the back door and balcony for example.

Ah didn’t see, rules changing overtime. Upstairs used to be always blocked off even if it was the main area of the base

additionally, all properties in paralake have at least two entrances going to the top floor, example the farm, the office...
