How do I change gun sounds?

I replaced the .wav file for the Glock 17/18c with what I feel like is a more realistic Glock firing sound yet the old sound still plays on both guns, what am I doing wrong, Modbros?

are you subscribed to the workshop aswell? they could be overriding one another

I've managed to do this for myself and it works, like flux said the workshop content may override it.

If not then double check to see if its the right file structure "addons\ANYTHING\sound\weapons\glock18" and make sure its a .wav.
IF all that doesn't work you can send me the sound you want for it and i'll do it for you.
