Nobody with any sense is arguing that the demotion is unwarranted, and I don't think anyone should be arguing that he should be reinstated either. However I don't believe that he's only sorry he got caught. He could easily have just claimed he resigned due to whatever else, or just stayed silent about it. Demotions aren't exactly announced to the whole community. Hell, when I was a staff member, I didn't even know why some other staff members had been demoted. I still don't know if Bean Can was demoted or resigned. It's not a very transparent process usually, and I think people here can respect the fact that he's coming clean about it, when he really didn't have to.
 
Definitely unfortunate to see you were demoted but with what you described regarding the noclip abuse, it is only fair. You've definitely got my respect for coming out and being honest with what actually happened though, especially when you had the option to state you resigned. And you never know, you may have the opportunity to reapply again some time in the future and get Enforcer once again - a case of me misusing noclip happened back in 2017 and I got demoted rightfully so, but was allowed to rejoin the staff team some time later so I'd personally see this as a means of reflecting on a mistake and trying again in the future.
