Maybe get a Ryzen 9 3900x, it has better specs than the 9900k and is also cheaper.
It has newer technology but also uses a little bit more power. It also comes with a pretty decent air cooler so if your AIO breaks you can slap that bad boy on. Don't overclock with the aircooler though

@Synatec their high-end stock coolers are more than enough for overclocking although overclocking is a bit limited with Ryzen since you have PBO

i would reccomend to use Rizen and switch to an AMD build as they are now way cheaper than intel and have basically the same aspects, like FPS and speed, also in AMD you can over clock everything

beacuse if i go 3600 i can buy 16gb in a single kit
and if i go 3466 i caan buy duel 16gb

@It's ANGRY MUFFIN time!!! Also now you're on Ryzen, you'll need to get a different AM4 motherboard (not sure if you're aware). I'd go for a B450 or X570.

I have basically the same PC as this, but yh like everyone is saying maybe consider a Ryzen build as well as 16gb of 3200 ram

@Synatec Is a Platinum rated PSU really needed, would bronze/gold be ok too?

bronze is okay too, any higher rating like gold or platinum is just better power efficiency
