I love u hideo kojima
The Metal Gear series is by far the best video game series to date. The characters have indepth background, the story telling is phenomenal, gameplay and graphics are way ahead of its time.
I was once like you, I didn't care about Metal Gear yh? But thats when I bought MGSV and was so confused about everything, so I played some of the games in a chronological order. MGS3 was the first game in chronological order. The game came out in 2003 and it was still good. The reasons why Big Boss was called Big Boss lowkey made me shed a tear no homo. THE GAME IS FUCKING GOOD OK?
now the best game all in all , is MGS4. MGS4 has the best story, characters and graphics(for its time)
Mgs3 is in 2nd and MGSV has the best gameplay.
The series is fucking amazing, so if u plan with starting with MGS3 and play it chronologically (ignore portable ops if u want)
