Should we switch from Teamspeak to Discord?

TS is much better for permissions and is just more server handy compared to Discord, we did this on a previous community was apart of and it didn't go well, so we switched back to TS. In my opinion, TeamSpeak is just 100x easier.

Discord can work for large communities, it just needs a lot of careful role building and management, may also make the shoutbox irrelevant but I can see it working well, it's a lot easier to contact certain people through discord

Teamspeak easier for larger communities? Imagine 4000 people on TS



Discord is nice because you can be active and not sit in a voice channel all the time, unlike TS.

Yeah discord is easy to manage in large communities it just needs to be well managed, I'm in similar communities that are this big

TS3 is better for the price, Discord is only worth if you've got people using their phones to connect, none of us leave our homes so stick with TS.

I'm pretty sure TeamSpeak 5 is hitting Beta soon. Maybe it would be worth waiting for that before a migration to Discord?

I'm fine with either though.
