I recently organized some "for-fun" roleplay with some friends who were on PD where my character was drunk. The chase was incredible and the roleplay was very enjoyable until an officer joined the chase, then decided to spike strip in this way after being got in a new creative jump trick I showed off. Maybe I am being self-centered and this is totally fine, maybe we can agree this shouldn't be fine and it can be in breach of things like Rule 3.3, but all I want is just some community opinions on this to better understand if I am alone or if others feel something similar about disapproving this kind of usage of Spikes.
Let me clarify my current stance also
I understand spike stripping is part of the game and it's mechanically made to work this way but we also complain about each other all the time. When fun roleplay happens like this and certain officers start using try-hard tactics to secure the win rather than enjoy the chase or roleplay, it just puts a bad taste in my mouth. I made it clear I was not in it for a win, I was slowing down for cops and messing with them over the phone pretending drunk so I really am serious about not chasing a win but just trying to give both sides some enjoyable rp to savor the chase rather than end it asap.
