The Triad were first formed a long time ago by two very powerful forces. These forces contained within them, the potential to rule EvoCity's underground. The forces of Yasha and Daddy converged and created the all powerful Triad. The force of Yasha representing the chaotic Yin, the darker side of EvoCity, the shadow that stretches out a clenched fist over EvoCity ready to grasp it and squeeze. The force of Daddy represents the more controlling and active Yang, the open palm to Yasha's clenched fist, the blinding light that the moths of EvoCity run into at various points. The third force that was created to make up the Triad was the spirit of the dragon, which resides within each of our members. The dragon spirit of the Triad determines who is worthy and who is not.
Ever since this convergence over 5 months ago, the Triad has been ruling the underground activities of Evo City, but has decided to move to Paralake. Making sure even Paralake is not safe for the dragonspirit. Every man, woman and child of Paralake shall know the fear of the Triad.

Upon becoming a member of this elite highly specialised criminal organisation, you are no longer a citizen. In the Triad everyone is equal in the sense that everyone has a lot of priviledges afforded to them upon joining. However there is a hierarchy:

Triad Grandmaster-三合會宗師
The Triad leaders. There can only be three Triad Grandmasters at any one time. To reach the rank of Grandmaster, one of the existing Grandmasters expire. These three Grandmasters are embodiments of the dragon spirit of The Triad. They represent the scourge of Paralake''s dark underbelly and command the fierce loyalty and respect of all Triad members. They are unquestionally obeyed at all times.

Dragon Master-龍大師
Dragon Master is the highest attainable rank in the Triad. Becoming a Dragon Master is a near impossible feat, you must prove yourself day in and day out that you are Triad through and through, that you can lead other members, that you would give your life for your Grandmasters and fellow members and that you can take on armies of enemies without taking a scratch. Only when you are so finely attuned with the Dragon Spirit of The Triad, will you be granted the honorary title of Dragon Master.

The Red Dragon, an eternal symbol of The Triad, representing the rage and aggression of The Dragon Spirit of The Triad. Members who attain this rank have proven that above their Bamboo-like versatility they also embody this natural aggression and have a reputation of violence and malice that precedes them wherever they go in Paralake.

Bamboo Warrior-竹戰士
To be classed as a warrior of The Triad is a tremendous feat in and of itself. Anyone that reaches this rank has proven to the Grandmasters their versatility in ever-changing situations. Just like Bamboo, you must be able to adapt quickly and grow fast in a large variety or circumstances. To attain the rank of Bamboo Warrior of The Triad, you must prove to the Grandmasters that you are capable of dealing with any situation that may arise. Proving that you possess this versatility is key to becoming a Bamboo Warrior of The Triad.

Rattan Soldier-藤士兵
To become a Rattan soldier is certainly not an easy task, for anyone who is simply a member of The Triad in the first place, commands the respect and fear of any Paralake citizen. So to achieve this third rank is something special in itself. The Rattan Soldier epitomises the will to get the job done. Although these soldiers are yet to fully embrace the Dragon Spirit of The Triad, they are well on their way to learning the way of The Triad, and have proven themselves loyal enough to be called a Rattan Soldier of The Triad.

Raging Torrent-憤怒的洪流
Members who have reached the rank of Raging Torrent epitomize those who have begun their discovery of what The Triad is about and what being a member of it entails. They have passed the initial phases of joining, they have captured the attentions of the Grandmasters of The Triad and they are well on their way to start climbing the ranks, and like a raging, unending torrent, they force their way through the rocks and seemingly unpassable openings.

The Enlightened-開明
The Enlightened few, are those who have seen the error of their previous ways and have joined the Triad collective. They have realised that they cannot contend with the will of the Dragon Spirit of The Triad, they have given in. In their defeat, they have submitted to a higher power. However, they ARE Triad Members. To become a member of The Triad and be a part of The Enlightened is a triumph in itself and worth celebrating, as anyone who is part of The Enlightened is already a part of the most successful and respected.
