Description of the idea:
Undercover agent is a Law enforcer that looks like a normal civilian, why should this be added?
This could be a lot of fun and give more role play situation for example. If other law enforcers have a suspicion a building has drugs inside. If a regular cop goes to investigate is suspicions. An undercover agent can look freely around and if the owners of the residence ask what he/she is doing he can make up a role play related story (Looking for available houses). Another example if there is a breaking at slums the undercover agent can go first to scout it out if its one person he can make arrest right away. If its heavy armed person/persons he can comply to there demands or leave the area if the allow him/her to so. then pass down the information to other units. So are there many more situations an undercover agent can be useful and a lot of fun.

How does someone know you are an undercover agent.
  • For other government employees the name above person will be blue like a normal officer for everyone else it will be the normal color.
  • For the citizens. if you want to let people know you have a badge this is an act/swep that you can do/hold to let people know you are an undercover agent.
  • For criminals. When an undercover agent surrenders his name turns blue so the will know it's an undercover agent (this wont give them a reason to murder the officer). (An idea i had this can be added if its not that hard to implement. If the officer dies it drops a badge (that people can't pickup) andthey know it's an undercover agent).
Lets talk about the loadout it should be like a normal officer. (Maybe dont give it armor to keep it realistic). Also an undercover agent uses the unmarked cars.

Why should this be added? (pros):
  • More role play
  • Extra challenges
  • More ways to engage with criminals
What negatives could this have? (cons):
  • Its harder to be a criminal you wont know if someone is a cop.

This has been suggested many times, I don't see a need for it. If this is something, Maybe just make (S)SGTs+ able to wear suits, but still have police identification.
