Maybe I’m just too newgen but majority of the top orgs from back then were massive zergs like Legacy and Tax Collectors.The PVP culture (by other players) on this server is straight dogshit and its obscure how some of the people on this server find it fun as it just relies on mass flanking and zerging no actual fun compared to the much more traditional v5 PVP which required skill or some actual plan
Idk about required it's a RP server i dont think people should regularly be killing PD unless this server has now became Antistasi. I remember one time me Medium and Katya Love got 11 man raided and we genuinely killed majority just for 3 more to come after flanking pd and kill us. This Zerg mentality has always been a massive part of pvp because it’s simply a guaranteed way of winning; nobody likes losing.
Zerging is practically now required to combat other orgs and pd since the map is massive and other organizations have 15+ people.
I don’t disagree with your argument because there were orgs like MiP, Partabellum, and Grow Inc (made it to top 2 orgs so I count them) that garnerd massive org xp from combat and drugs while only having a set few active members but anyone else relied on numbers. The only reason some people say “V5 was better” is because of nostalgia and their own participation in zerging. The “actual plan” you are talking about probably includes 3 people flanking, 1 as50 posted near the raid , 2 people holding the entrance, and 4 others pushing in.
Killing the PD, unless they call the area Code 6, is how I'd imagine most raids resolve, and I'm certain that high-ranked PD players are used to doing that. Counters and flanking remain an ever-present threat, and I'm sure orgs are able to prevent that in their operations. I was never aware that it had not been the case in previous years, or that zerging was a recently resurging phenomenon.Idk about required, it's an RP server. Yes, zerging has been a thing, however, I've never recalled it being this obnoxious to the point where people will zerg the entire server, whine when others zerg to defend themselves, creating mega zergs that make the server horrible for everyone. In V5, orgs were able to do small raids without requiring a quadrillion people. The incredibly shitty pvp on this server is simply a cycle of others simply mimicking how other bigger orgs play and copying them, then said big orgs complain when they don't have total control of the PVP aspect of the server.
If you genuinely find just mass flanking cops and spamming as50s fun, you maybe don't actually like the challenge of PVP and rather it just being easy. However, the things I've listed above make playing the server as a criminal or cop just a incredibly horrible experience, as its not actually recreational nowadays.

Literally saw some random don on cop just run into a fire and die like a idiotin my opinion getting money is to easy, you get around 200k+ an hour doing coke with chem table. Which is a joke, thats about 10+ rifles an hour. The drug update has been talked about for abit now, but still havent seen much to it.
When people dont have a problem with money, they wont with guns either. People as50 spam, because they can just get more. raiding with 1-5 people sucks because you gotta deal with so much tfu, that doesnt push. Compare to v5 tfu actually pushed even if they died, they had way more balls then v6. its not about Zerging etc, its all about people playstyles, if tfus dont push then you want flankers.
Zerging will never be stopped unless smt steps in, but people zerg because dealing with so many cops sucks, especially if they dont push.

well, people need flankers when cops dont peak nor push, you as a raider peak the cops or push the cops. chances are your gonna get shot by 5 different cops. i was purely just saying my opinion on the matter, being able to get free rifles/guns that you keep after dying, and your playing like you lose everything when dying is rather boring. having to play against do a 3v15+ sucks, when the cops not peaking nor pushing, while outnumbering someone.It sounds like you're just complaining that cops on this server rush in and die 5% less (people still rush in and die like idiots?)
I am not denying this, as i had my fair share of long raids with pd etc etc, but they had the actual balls to have a more aggressive playstyle rather then sitting in a corner and waiting for raiders to push out. It could also be because v6 feels like a really open map, and not many people wanna peak due to peaking a milion different angles, but thats my opinion.Long PD raids also did happen on V5
You leave the bearcat and not kill ejecting it while 8+ people, you will just end up getting picked off, cops use the brute as a bullet proof car, sure some of its use is meant to be around that, but truly if you get kill ejected in the brute, you shouldnt head on drive into a shootout.also the statement about Zerging I feel if you're raiding with 8-12 people insta kill ejecting the bearcat with G3's and just mass flanking simply just picking people off thats not even cause killing cops is "hard" you just want to find something to be easy
Omfg, I could absolutely not have said this better. Although apparently a controversial point, I actually do like the map, but you are correct its absolutely not great for RP, not only is it hugely open, something like slums warehouse is nearly impossible cause theres so many angles people come from, or you just get AS50'ed from the fucking highway by some cunt so far away that you can barely see his head.i dont enjoy pvp, theres too many problems with it
- hit reg is horrible no matter what ping ( .50 going through someone with no dmg more than half of the time ive ever used an as50 )
- audio is horrible (suggestion made -> fix helps -> v6 comes out and audio still bad -> suggestion made -> 1 year passes -> still not fixed -> where the fuck am i getting shot from -> i dont want to play anymore )
- map was not designed with pvp in mind ( yes bro lets make foundry virtually unraidable by adding 9 km sightlines with no ability for counterplay )
- org meta ( base with 999 ally and 999 org member and 999 flankers and 999 cops and 999 civs breaking 3.4 with reports taking 20 min to solve )
- rewards are meaningless ( grow -> harvest -> dry -> sell -> gamble/spend -> repeat ) ( get gun -> use in raid -> die -> ok )
- 90% of pvp is rp-less ( raid and bank spam ), the last 10% are with new players who join the server actually wanting to roleplay
- no true pvp endgame ( you only keep playing this server as a pvper if you have no other games to play ) other than spamming as50s every raid
there would be more rp pvp if raiding wasn't the main way to pvp. the fact is that 90% of players on this server spend their time growing and drying by themselves in a base while tabbed out watching youtube. if you can make more money by not interacting with a single person on the server for 24 hours straight than by actively roleplaying (government jobs, crafting/selling, etc), then there is a serious flaw with the server's progression and something needs to change. this has been a preexisting problem in v5, but exacerbated by how gigantic v6 is in comparison.

Tbh I can understand having to be a shitton of people when theres a LOT of cops, the balancing on this server is really not planned out too well. I understand they wanna focus on the realism that in real life if 1 cop dies or panics you'll be surrounded by a million cops and swat teams, but there also need to be a power balance. Its not fun to solo raid when you know you have to fight 10 cops.its not about the diffiuclty in killing cops, but having a realistic chance of winning. Dealing with 10+ cops each raid, whether or not your 2 or 8, you will still need to deal with alot of cops, if those cops doesnt push you, your gonna have to peak them but peaking 6 cops holding the same angle makes it very unlikley to win the duel.
