WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ENFORCER:
About Me
For those of you that don’t know me, I’m McGlinchy or Janice to some, I am currently 15 and come from Scotland, I currently hold the rank of Captain within the PLPD serving as the Head of Academy. I have 3 Bans and 8 Warnings on my record, These starting in September 2016 and ending in May 2017, You can see the reasoning for these below. I have previously applied for Enforcer 3 times all of which were denied with my last one being in August, I will talk about these further down.
Why I want to be an Enforcer
Becoming a staff member has always been an interest of mine since I first joined the community. I feel now that I could do this using my knowledge and experience to help me. The reasoning I would actually like to become an enforcer is pretty simple. I would like to help out with enforcing the rules on the server and help the players on the server have the best experience they can. Obviously, I have been trying to do this as much as possible as a regular user via usage of things like help chat etc, however, I feel I could do this even better as a staff member as I would be able to help where I currently can’t. I regularly see people complaining in OOC about report times and such, I feel I could help out with situations like this as I would be an extra pair of hands to help as much as possible when a backlog of reports may be forming. I believe it would be a great experience for me to help all the members of the community and gain myself some more knowledge and understanding of the server and community along the way.
Past Applications
Previously I have applied for enforcer 3 times, All of which were denied with my last one being in August. I believe all of these applications have been quite useful for me as I was able to take the feedback given and try to improve on those areas as much as possible. I think that these sort of help to show how I have progressed and changed in my time as when I first applied I was nowhere near ready so to now feel more confident about it must be a step in the right direction.
Improvement from my last application
After my last application was denied the feedback I was given was that there was a concern regarding whether I could handle some situations professionally and be motivated in them especially when I am potentially annoyed with a situation and I completely understand why this is, My conduct IC could sometimes become quite unprofessional if a situation was starting to annoy or stress me and I would agree that it wasn’t good so this made a lot of sense. I now believe that I have improved on this as I now don’t get as easily annoyed or stressed and situations so I am able to handle these much better than I was before. I would like to also add that even though there may be times I take a bad attitude or opinion to someone or something IC, I don’t take this away from IC and It doesn’t affect my opinion of those involved OOC.
Skills
Throughout my time in this community, I have managed to develop and improve on many skills, Especially some important ones like mediation, the ability to remain completely neutral in situations, Confidence and much more. These skills have been a big part of my improvement in the community both as a general player and as an Officer within the server. I believe most of these skills I have are good for a staff position as I am able to handle things without taking any sides in the situation this can be seen by things like my role in the PD which I will detail later, I have quite a lot of experience within the community with things like the rules and laws, I am quite good at trying to meet negotiation with people who are disagreeing on things meaning I could help in resolving situations where both parties are happy with the situation. This may not be a skill as such but I am very active within the community especially when there aren’t many people still on and I am regularly on both sides as an Officer and Civilian so I do understand both sides of the server. I would like to reference MrLewis’ post about “The Ideal Candidate” there are 6 main things listed there about what a candidate should look like, Understanding a mistake, Professionalism, Mediation, Confidence, Open to criticism and understanding we’re all human, I do believe that I meet most if not all of these hence why I believe If given the chance I may do well as a Staff Member
My involvement in the community
As I stated before, I currently hold the rank of Captain as Head of Academy as well as holding multiple specialist roles such as Supervisory Investigator in Internal Affairs and the Communications Lead in People Services. This is a major part of my experience and development within this community, These roles have been a great help for me as they have assisted me in becoming who I am today, Being supervisory investigator has been a great development for me as I am always dealing with complaints regarding alleged misconduct so I am always completely neutral in the situation which is also quite big in the Staff Team. I have been in the PD since late 2016 and as of now, I believe I am currently the youngest command member. The PD may not help me get a staff position, however, I do believe that it has severely helped me to improve on my journey here.

REQUIREMENTS:
In order for your application to be considered you must meet the following requirements:
- Your time played on the server must be at least one week. ✔
- No recent bans and warnings on record for at least a period of a month, this includes both the forums and the server. ✔
- You must have an extensive knowledge and understanding of the server rules and laws to the extent where you can Enforce them. ✔
- You must have access to and use a microphone. ✔
- You must maintain an active presence on the TeamSpeak Server ✔
