Mic delay

My in-game mic seems to have a 1.5-2 seconds delay.

*I press X*
*I say something*
>1.5 seconds later
*person can hear what I just said*

Don't think this is supposed to be, because other people don't have this. Or I'm just an idiot probably

It's just a general delay that everyone gets while playing Garry's Mod. Sure it's annoying, but there isn't much we can do.
