WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE A HELPER?:
I've wanted to help out in some way, I've been rather critical of the administration team, and being able to assist where I can (I don't have the time I used to anymore, so I'm unlikely to be able to meet the requirements for any other role, however, I shall endeavour to meet the expectations of the above role for good measure. Whilst I do reply to the help chat, the main thing that I do to help is through advice, there are people that break rules right in front of me but there's nothing I can do, as informing them that they are breaking rules seldom works and I believe having the Helper role would allow for me to appropriately aid the person into becoming a productive member of the community rather than a detriment.
WHY SHOULD WE CHOOSE YOU?:
In my LL.M. I undertook a class in international/domestic commercial arbitration and mediation which means that I am more than capable of resolving issues of petty squabbles and arguing which is basically in the Helper's job description. In my day job, I have to speak consistently coherently to ensure that our clients are able to utilise the best possible legal advice (and that they actually understand it!) to make appropriate commercial decisions.
As for my dedication to the server, I have been a member of the community since February 2014 (although I was community banned on 26 July 2016 until 25 April 2019.
I have received a total of three warnings in six years (the last one was in 2016), and one ban. I have not had an Internal Affairs investigation succeed against me (as of yet).
DO YOU HAVE ANY RELEVANT EXPERIENCE?:
I have been a moderator twice on this server.
I have been a PLPD supervisor (rising to Lieutenant of Patrol - twice) and am now a Sergeant.
I am a Paralegal, specialising in commercial, financial and property law as well as dispute resolution (however, most of my job is preparing documents for higher-ups).
DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO SAY?:
In terms of my past transgressions, they no longer reflect the person I am today and I believe that some who have committed similar acts against the server have ascended to become true pillars of this community, I hope you would say that I am capable of joining those people.
