Description of the idea:
no collide dropped weapons against players.
Especially a problem with the current map and for evo city, thanks to this EXCELLENT anti jumpshot feature we have, stepping on guns in a shootout forces either/and:
- Force you to stop aiming down sights
- Raising recoil to unmanageable and unplayable levels
- Get you stuck
- In cases with katanas, can literally throw you into the air.
Maybe make the collision with dropped items against ragdolls stay, but on the other hand it’s perfectly realistic for a gun to be underneath a dead body.
Why should this be added? (pros):
- another group of items you won’t be able to push players with at bazaar to try getting them to buy it.
- This issue is incredibly prominent during shootouts in properties with thin staircases, such as subs and V3 / V4 Regals. (Wasn’t an issue on V3 however due to falling and moving not affecting your aim and accuracy at the time), evo city apartments and evo city subs houses. Without use of explosives or manually moving weapons with fists, if the first people to peek the top floor on subs die, then the staircase gets spammed with weapons making the raid difficult.
What negatives could this have? (cons):
literally can’t think of one that outweighs the benefits. The only issue I see is guns being thrown through players.
