@Murtsley @Jimmy Jackson

From the TFU handbook:
Tactical Firearms is a specialist unit within the PLPD. The division utilises specialist vehicles and weapons which are operated by heavily armoured, uniformed officers who have been selected and trained to stabilise and control armed incidents, stop and search suspects; their vehicles and to search premises for armed suspects and they are also trained in property entry and breaching.
If you are able to do this as a supervisor, i honestly don't see an issue. Who cares if a person holding a TFU slot is a senior officer or a sergeant, seriously, what is the issue? Supervisors can do their job just fine. If they cannot 'supervise' and do light gear tasks, they are unfit for the supervisor role. Due the way the PD permissions are set up it's honestly preferable to have sergeants patrolling in light gear. TFU are almost always the first to encounter dead bodies(DNA) or arrive to properties where a warrant is needed ASAP.

This threads suggests giving supervisors heavier equipment anyways, i seriously don't get it.

@ardomaxi
there are 30+ Sgt's some are probably worth promoting.
Where do you think they will go? SSGT looks like it is going to be removed, The only other place would be LT but a command spot needs to open.

Please don't remove the remmy from RTU, the last thing we need is a CPL+ and supervisors sitting on perimeter all the time. Making TFU similar to SWAT again is a good idea since we'll always have TFU to respond to situations but at the same time I'd suggest some basic training and SO+ rank requirement so we don't have any unqualified and inexperienced TFU officers.

The traffic division is officially doomed!

at this stage there is questioning as to whether this will even happen.
Following the resignation of @Samuel nothing seems to be going forward on how we continue this plan

@Samuel if only I could rate this winner
Unfortunately we’ve had to get used to that when the CoD seems to have no interested in the PD anymore

Won’t it be fun when everything dies

@Hayden that shouldn’t be necessary

just need to make sure people are interested and then look at other options when they loose interest

@BigBenji you make strange suggestions, so that would end up with bike patrol.

@McGlinchy yea! I’ve actually felt very good since I resigned. No longer feel the pressure to hunt people down to change stuff that needs change. I can do what ever I want with my time. And I don’t have to deal with the professional perp cs go players on the server.

@Samuel You're implying that watching 7 officers chase a mini on bikes wouldn't be the literal best thing ever.
