Lets say, you as a cop are raiding morons, and there's some defense. You roughly know where they are at, and peeking out will result in almost certain death. The only option you have is walbaning. Obviously, if the criminals are shooting they are NOT planning to negotiate about any hostages, and most likely dont have them. and unarmed(haha, lol) would probably yell that they're coming out or something. Why can't you wallbang?
or if someone is behing a barricade, taking cover while shooting trough it. We can't wallbang?

I have been in so many situations where wallbanging was the best way to survive. Especially when all they do is wallbang the slums door, you are forced to wait until their org members come and flank you. Unless it is absolutely necessary, you should be allowed to wallbang.
So the TFU team is getting supressed through a door after the criminals already killed several officers and you can't return fire..? I'm sorry that's just pathetic.
Police aren't allowed to wallbang unless the circumstances requires it. If we're getting shot at through a door, we're not just gonna stand around and have a chat while we wait for the criminals to run out of ammo.

Wallbanging on PERP is done in a retarded and unrealistic way anyway.
Spraying 30 bullets through a door only to have being perfectly formed!??!? Might as well fight fire with fire, limitations to the game engine and whatnot.

Cops can already get destroyed easily by criminals in flanking tactics and other dumb strategies. Of course cops can wallbang if they know what's on the other side. It's just common sense. They're not gonna sit there and deliberately be useless, it's one of the only ways to successfully raid in many regards.

It's dumb because most of the time it wastes more resources on trying to murderbone cops to protect drugs and the few surviving people in the building than it's worth protecting the resources in the building. It's a tactic aimed more at slaughtering people than protecting money's worth of illegal goods, and I know because you can tell from the damage done to cars, the guns confiscated in comparison to the guns and drugs inside the building that it would've been less expensive to surrender rather than to send flankers because in total the flankers lose more money's worth of assets than what they were protecting.

I voted the bottom one for the simple reason that, if you don't know weather there are civilians inside or not you shouldn't be shooting through a wall unless you are 1000% sure that the place your shooting has an armed or deadly suspect in. So, for example i think wallbanging is fine in somewhere like a regals apartment(without boarded windows) where reconnaissance can be done and a headcount can be done of people inside. Once confirmed that all suspects inside are armed and dangerous, lighting up the walls should be fine. But, apart from that regardless of weather your taking fire through a wall or not, you shouldn't return it unless you can see the guy.
