Following the great unbanning of 2018, the server has seen quite a shift in personality. I've noticed a lot less players being aggressive towards staff, and a more casual tone in OOC chat, as well as less constant gunfire across the city. Now this very well may be completely unrelated to the situation, but I figured (As you probably know I love them by now) I would make a poll to see how the PERPheads community feels about the way the server is now.

Please, feel free to discuss below. All opinions are welcome, just keep any beef against specific players in PMs please. :)

some cool people came back

some fucked up their opportunity for dumb reasons ;)

meh, im more glad to see frequent updates anyway if anything

Staff Team used Husky, Nade ect to try bring players back when we were hitting 20 people on Fridays at peak times and when the playerbase came back they banned them again. Nothing really has changed. I can see the same thing happening again unless something is changed for long term.

Personally, the MassRDMs were interesting to see as a police officer. There were sudden eruptions of gunfire on the map, and it was hard to contain at times. (See the terminators @John Daymon) It was interesting to see how a "domestic terrorist"-style attack would go down in perpheads, and certain areas ended up becoming short lived warzones. We also got some cool videos of people gunning down lines of people. Now yes, rulebreaking is rulebreaking and massRDM would quickly become a stale element of gameplay if it were to be an added 'mechanic'. However for the few chaotic days that ensued, it was a unique and quite fun experience from one side. I'm sure others have differing opinions, but that's just mine. It was kinda neat to see, regardless of how stupid it was.

People lack respect, think they can step on toes without getting a reaction, once they get reaction they go cry and make complaints over either the PD or Staff complaints in general. For example when I was demoted I was told several times in OOC; Congrats on mod Daymon! I kicked them instantly, when they came back they started crying about it, like hello?

Ehh... I'm pretty sure they were messing with you man. There's also a lot of people taking things the wrong way. I feel like maybe we could benefit from slowing down a bit and thinking about what others are saying.

You mean the people who started arguing about the kick saying that they didn't know and such? Hm...

My point is; people don't expect to get a setback in a situation where they cause drama, once they do they get aggressive lol

Most the people who were unbanned in the mass unban and came back to the community got bored and did the exact thing that got em banned, Then when Nade was rebanned for reasons a bunch of people decided to Mass RDM to get permanently banned in protest, with this and the fact that staff are STILL using short bans in place of warnings, we're back to how it was before the mass unban.

Imo, it did nothing but give us a bit of good old nostalgia seeing old mates and stuff. It was a nice try but it obviously wasn't going to work.

People dont play as criminals anymore. Why would they anyways you only waste cash , why not go cop and not lose anything. Everytime i come on i hardly find any bases and even at 20-25 players on i see 8/8 cops.

People also keep getting banned for 3.4 for creating shootouts when " you can hide" and such. Yes its a roleplay server but you also gotta calm down abit especially when cops in shootouts dont lose a penny. So what if someone instead of hiding in an unowned apartment went to bazaar instead.

Its pretty stupid that people get banned for making the server fun.

The server maxed out for like a day but over time it ended up just going back to what it was and whenever I go on there is hardly anything to do so it gets boring quickly and that's why people don't play.

I think this is an excellent point. There are now almost always more bans per day than there are a warnings and that just discourages people from playing. Especially new players.

Yeah because everyone is in 1 big org. No wonder nobody is basing because you are all powergrowing in 1 big base and raiding every little base with 10 people.

I mean since then there has been like 300 bans, which is quite a lot. It did help but something is going wrong somewhere so idk

the only thing wrong in the server is the way people play, they like the ez money and guns so they make huge orgs and have no one to fight or if u wanna say, "zerg" other players/orgs so it kills the whole org vs org thing or crim vs crim.

I had a permanent ban for 3 years when I got unbanned. I was always told I had wasted all my chances and my roleplay would never improve nor would I learn to play seriously.
Since this unban, I've only received one 2 hour ban for leaving during a roleplay situation and one warning for putting my items in the storage trunk too fast. It's been around a month since I got unbanned. I think I have proven that I am able to roleplay like how I'm supposed to.
Without this mass unban, it looked like I would never be able to get back on the server. So, I'm very happy that this happened and I am able to prove myself.

Not true. We almost never base anymore. Everyone is in 1 big org because there is no other orgs and no one even bothers making a decent 1.

Then maybe someone should make a decent one? I mean there are a few orgs out there, but people automatically go for the biggest and strongest.
