Tier 1 TFU Update Discussion

as a banned individual i think this video explains itself
Why didnt the experienced TFU guide the recruits instead of saying they will be demoted, the whole point is to teach them how to do the role, not threaten demotes because they don't have the experience :laughcry: :laughcry:

I was under the impression tier 1 would be easier to get, but no this easy.

For years people have worked to put TFU in a position where it isn't crazy hard to get but still filters out people who are going to be a waste of space whenever on duty, but it seems like the new tier 1 system completely back pedals on the reason TFU was created over SWAT to begin with.

Not only that, it was already fairly hard as crim to raid with max cops on, especially since all the measures to prevent zergs, often when people are raiding now its only a handful of people vs up to 24 cops, with tier 1 not being overly strict and seemingly letting in anyone at all it's also made this completely shit for crims to even attempt to raid at peak times

Getting into TFU should be extremely difficult, not something that can be easily accomplished with a simple multiple-choice test....
Previous system imo was impractical, you had to have experience of doing the role without doing the role, all squeezed into a couple hour training session, which from experience wasn't great with more casual players being absolutely wiped by the trainers at any given moment.

That aside, its a positive step to a more diverse and open PD, not massive applications for some guns in the grand scheme of things.

This is as close as we will get to the old SWAT system where anyone (with premium) could join and get some powerful guns and armor, good stuff.

I do think there should be a limit to Tier 1 TFU and maybe reserve slots for more experienced/higher tier TFUs if possible because these videos aren't looking good lmao

Kids today have no idea how good they have it, back in the day you were pinned down taking fire in projex stairwell and the only heavily armed backup available was SWAT consisting of a 6 year old, a laptop track pad gamer, a minge and a dude from Zimbabwe with 5 million ping.

My main problem with the tier 1 is the bar is way too low. you should have to be SO atleast. giving officers with less then 10 hours on cop Ars and flashs doesnt help anyone

But it was just placed with an even more elitist T3 role with no clear path on how to obtain it other then 'commands choice'

Hey guys, let’s make one role easier to obtain but create a new role that’s 100 times harder to achieve!

I like the update except for how RTFO works.

BAR ENTRY FROM RTFO UNLESS YOU MEET CERTAIN REQUIREMENTS PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD

I DON'T WANT TO SEE 6 HOUR PLAYTIME RTFOS. MAKE THEM GET SENIOR OFFICER AND TASER AND HAVE LONG PLAYTIME ON PD FIRST
