We need to think off, ofc it's not impossible to have an unlucky mutation as the Spanish Flu in 1920, but our Medical Services and system is way better today than back then.
I'm gonna make the outrageous assumption that no one reading this thread is above the age of 30. That outrageous assumption means that none of you have to be afraid of dying from this virus. You will AT MOST be a carrier of this disease and get locked up in isolation( Which sounds worse than it is, assuming that we're all privileged citizens with human rights in a first world country. Basically you will just get a prolonged vacation inside of your home. Sounds alright doesn't it? ). You only have something to worry about if you have preexisting illnesses that can cause further complications.
Your parents might die though. So there's that. But that was going to happen either way at some point.
