For real though, with these complaint threads being open a while where are the people that are meant to manage the community, take in these discussions and issue change? I'm trying to figure out what they've been doing these past few months and I have no idea, not even any input from either of them on the big PLPD thread.

@rogue
@Tyla Jai

How do you plan to fix the things the community are constantly annoyed about and discussing regularly?
Where have you been these past few months?

Hey, so I have been here just as much as you have!

It's important to consider planned leave, time-zone differences and work or educational commitments when talking about where we have been. It's also important to consider just because you see more of rogue or I, doesn't mean the other isn't putting in work too as day by day more of our work is becoming unnoticed and behind closed doors so to speak. I handle community safeguarding and complaints primarily, whilst Rogue has taken up more of the public facing work such as spotlights which I spent years slaving away doing. I have handled 7 safeguarding investigations in the last two months which as you can imagine take some time, especially if we're exploring potential criminal offences. In that same time I have handled 14 complaints on helpers alone, not inclusive of senior management complaints.

To further expand on activity, here were my planned leaves in the last couple months:
17th June 20251-2 weeksI bought my first house and had to move in
26th July 20251 weekI had a booked holiday to Tenerife

Perhaps a lot of the time we don't cross paths in-game because I am heavily involved with the development of VaultCorp, probably over 100 hours of development time in the last couple months, as-well as this I am a full time police officer and work shifts which eat into a lot of my personal normal people time, but I see this as a benefit as long as I am not asleep as I may be seen across more time zones which is important for a community manager.

In regards to issues the community are annoyed about, if you would like to send me a message with some specific concerns I would be happy to look into it. In regards to the PLPD Thread, the Chief of Department is aware and is part of the senior management team. I did a coo on the police department a few years back (throwback @Collier) and I felt there was some positive changes from it, so it's not like things haven't been done with the PD before but there have been some significant events since which has proven the PD is capable of managing issues itself as almost its own sub-community. A1L is going to be aware of the problems and I should hope there are solutions being worked on. It's not so much my place to be stepping on A1L's toes if a solution is in the works, but I would leave him to comment. If there isn't any response from him then I would be more than happy to step in and ensure something gets done!

How much of that was sitting on menus ;) All joking aside congrats on the new house man

Also like to add that Rogue has been of amazing help with running events where he has been open for discussing event ideas, possibilities, giving us permission and physically coming on specially just to give us some temp ranks and supervise our events. Which has allowed us to run more events again lately with ease allowing a lot of people to enjoy these events. So also in- and directly helping in the community with events as well.

Ad alert if you wish to look at the events we could run because of this: https://perpheads.com/threads/perpheads-husky-co-events.48389/

Congrats on the house,

as conduits of the community to the senior management, I would expect both CMs to be more active on the forums in particular the discussion pages especially when it concerns problems players are having, but seem to universally be happening. A lot of the current issues would feel a lot better if either you or Rogue stepped into the discussion to either alleviate concerns or say they will be addressed

I've noticed that I don't see the community managers around very often, but I completely understand—they can't be online all day. Both of them have full-time jobs in addition to helping run the staff team, and that’s a big commitment. I really respect the effort they put in behind the scenes.

Rogue is amazing, the event ideas coming from him are always fire and incredibly fun.
