Wow, you can really miss a lot of drama when you are at school...
The truth is that some Olsen members thought they were untouchable just because their org could easily raid everyone. Even thought that is true, I don't think that gives them permission to act like they used to do (being salty both IRL (forums) and IG) therefore I think that Fredy took the rigth decision by banning them.
Some people might say that perp is going to die thanks to this events, but I remember the times when perp had 75/75 players almost all day and one of the things that I remember was the equal power between 3/4 orgs meaning that the criminal vs criminal occurred more often than the last year or so.
But, if you create a to powerful org you can only make two choices, either be allies or get raided everytime you try to base. I can say this based on my experience, I had the chance to be accepted in a big org yesterday but before that all I did was playing with 5/6 friends but it came to a point where that was impossible because since we were not allies with those "big org" we were destroyed.
Therefore, I honestly think that this situation might be a awakening to perp and not the other way around.
Also, people should stop treating Olsen like they are all salty and stupid (bc they are good IG) because there are some Olsen members that are good players and awesome persons!

Okay an issue with orgs now is that are getting so high and mighty and saying things like “they server is nothing without Olsen” is absolutely disgusting and is the behaviour certain orgs have had acting like they own the community.

Secondly @Fredy what’s this about being able to search hard drives. An official statement weather this happened or if it is currently happening would be great.

For example they repeatedly called my real life phone number, which I don't really mind too much, but which clearly shows that they are going way too far and us removing them from our community was exactly the right thing to do.

The worst part however is that they then proceeded to find personal details of staff members who they thought were involved in that discussion and actually found a phone number belonging to a staff member'srelative who they then told people on their teamspeak to spam call tomorrow. And exactly this is where the fun ends.

There was a gmod exploit that allowed reading all files on anyone's hard drive once, the guy who found the exploit told me about it and i tested it on my dev server on tinyslayer only. It was fixed the next day, this was at least a year ago.

Generally speaking there might always be a Gmod exploit that allows this, but I would never use this on people who play on my server.

Interesting story; when I used to play Arma 3 altis life RP, the main UK server, (then named altislifeUK) actually banned an entire clan due to the far reaching rule breaking of some of it's main members and leaders. Though I would not like to see this policy adopted, I do believe that it gave a level of importance and mutual trust to orgs in general, ie: someone joins and breaks rules, it could have far reaching consequences, org-wide, or say you join an org of rule breakers, chances are you'd get banned along with the rest of them, by rule of association. As a consequence of this, in my experience orgs were very selective in their recruitment, and rule breaking was rare. I'm not suggesting this be put into place, but I think people should keep in mind that @Fredy and the rest of the owners don't need a reason to ban someone, it's their server, not yours, keep that in mind.

Phoning people IRL isn’t cool, especially parents but I don’t think they did it with much though, it seemed funny and i’m sure to the people involved it was funny but I don’t think they put much thought into it. I think Nades ban was a little bit silly in my opinion, everyone occasionally breaks rules pmsl I can say for sure, and if it only justified a warning and ayjay didn’t ban him at the time then it seems like he was just added to get rid of olsen. However the others bans were justifiable to a degree. I don’t condone phoning people irl or relatives just so it’s clear.

You do not get to harass someone who was almost entirely not involved just to make a point and as such anyone who was community wide banned today can be guaranteed that there is no chance in hell they're ever going to be unbanned.

If I'm.correct then they tried doing the staff member, which in the British law,Tommy knowledge, is totally not allowed and can be sent to jail, thanks Freddy for dealing with these ppl

EDIT: Also @Fredy don't ban me for showing support for Olsen as none of your rules are against this. You banning Xeno is basically staff corruption and one of your staff members would demoted for doing that.

I agree with this, over the past few weeks i've stopped being crim and i'm being cop, and the only raids i got was 90% olsen, and they were fun raids.
