You've probably seen some people do it - Replacing the car sounds with something 'better'. Since several of you asked me how to do it you can have a look at this small guide.
I've went trough and got all the necessarry sound directories you CAN replace which includes the car sounds and in which content pack they can be found in. Either go to this Puush or look at the code format below. If you find any mistakes then please, let me know. Examples can be found in the spoiler below.
Disclaimer: Do NOT use these to your advantage. This is purely made to give your PERP a different feeling. Malicious use will be dealt with accordingly.

First of all, you need the sounds you want to use. You can use the sounds of an existing car from the workshop and extract the sounds with GMAD. If you want to use your own sounds you need to convert them to the right format with Audacity which can be done by setting it as a mono track, 44100Hz and saving it as .wav
, be sure to name them correctly (which consists of rev, first, second, third, fourth_cruise, idle and throttle_off, I'm sure you can figure it out by yourself what these mean). If this doesn't work then please let me know, I have forgotten the complete process of how to do it but this should be the correct one.
Depending on what you want to replace you will also need to name everything correctly. Let's take my SLS AMG for example (which also shares sounds with the SL65 and the Noble M600). First, find your car directory in the list, in this case it's in content pack #12, named 'slsamg'. Copy the perpheads_content_xx_xxxxxxx name after the content pack and set it as a folder. Be sure to unsubscribe and delete the content pack if you are subscribed to it on the workshop which in this case, again, should obviously be Content Pack #12.
[perpheads_content_12_281233062] (pretend that the brackets is a folder, cba to reupload images) Put this folder into your garrysmod\addons folder
after that come the necessarry directories:
E:\Steam\steamapps\common\GarrysMod\garrysmod\addons\perpheads_content_12_281233062\sound\vehicles\tdmcars\slsamg
which inside looks like this
That should be it. If it doesn't work be sure to do snd_restart in console and get rid of the content pack in which you replaced the sound with and make sure that the .gma file of it is not in the addons folder. Any concerns/comments/fixes should be written here, thanks!
