I first joined the Perpheads server back in November 2013 with Harry Barnett, although we didn't sign up on the site for donkeys because Harry eventually got himself banned permanently and had to create an account to appeal, which I did the same so I could support him. I never used my microphone for quite a while but when I started using it I became more known within the community and I then got enforcer on my second try. I personally think I was a bit pants at the job which is what I want to change if I am accepted again.

On January 15th 2015 the Police Supervisor System was introduced and I of course applied since all I really do on the server is play as police. This is why I started using my microphone, so that I could keep my position as a supervisor. I developed my skills as a police officer in-game and was invited to join the Board of Supervisors with Jordan, Chrissy and GraveDinosaur to help get the Police Department whitelisted.

The reason I would like to become an Enforcer is because I genuinely love to help people, and this position offers exactly what I'm looking for. It's the same reason I would like to become a Police Officer in real life. I got a bit bored of reports when I was previously a moderator but I always enjoyed the forum stuff and aiding the staff team in other ways (a great example is the ban appeal reminder section that I created).

Community Contribution and Activity
rf225oS.png

Graphics

I'm not on AyJay's level with creating graphics (e.g. logos, etc) but I can certainly work paint.net and photoshop to create some snazzy pictures. Here are a couple of the graphics I have contributed towards the community:
  • Paralake Police Department a number of logos that are used to represent divisions of the PLPD, e.g. Chiefs of Department, Support Services, Police Academy.
  • Christmas CS:GO Tournament the logo for the tournament, a small contribution towards Chris' amazing work.
  • Signature Creation between 20-30 signatures have been made for community members on request through inbox message.
Administration
I've served in the staff team for 1 year and 2 months which has let me meet lots more members of the community, not always in a positive way though.
  • 120 Bans I mostly catch rule breakers in a 'pro-active' method where I come across them frequently in roleplay, rather than 'reactive' through constant reports.
  • Action Requests I've never really had to make an action request as the staff team have handled my reports fine, but I've had to create two in the past [1] [2]
Police Department
As mentioned in my profile I was invited to the Board of Supervisors where I contributed towards the development of the Police Whitelist we have today, where I was a Deputy Chief of Department, once the Board of Supervisors were no longer needed, I stepped down to the rank of Inspector which was later removed and I became a Captain.

Paralake Crime Agency
People who are not members of my organisation may not think this is a big deal, but the amount of work I have put in along with some notable members is crazy, I've recently spent £50.00 (ontop of monthly hosting costs) hiring a person to develop a records management database for us, only with the aim of improving police roleplay.

Bugs & Suggestions
I always come up with new ideas and stick them in the suggestions section, same if I see a bug, they will not go unreported.
  • Bugs here are some of the bugs I have reported and they have been fixed [1] [2] [3]
  • Suggestions and here are some of the suggestions I have created and have been accepted [1] [2] [3]

Ban Appeal Reminders
Although something I can't do anymore, I would like to raise this as a point due to the amount of time and effort that went into them:

Previous Concerns
rf225oS.png

"You got demoted" yep that's many many months ago because I colluded @Allen Kennedy with harry barnett too much so that kind of didn't go down well lmao. Anyway if it means anything I promise not to be stupid and I will also be more active as I have bonkers 200mbps internet now (thanks virgin media).

If you would like to give constructive criticism privately instead of publicly then please feel free to do so in a conversation, use this link if you can't be bothered to start one yourself. This application is largely a copy-paste from the previous, with a few bits taken out or replaced as the reason I would like to join still stands, not hiding it or anything.

If the staff team is going to make one person this year enforcer, it should be Tyla.

I couldn't give a higher recommendation. Not only does Tyla have extensive previous experience as a moderator here, but his dedication to this community is inarguably high. He was an excellent moderator, despite the unfortunate demotion. It's a shame he had to resign due to some foolish antics and bad decisions, as he was a star staff member previously.

Now those who might argue that his demotion proves he shouldn't be trusted as an enforcer, think. There is precedent here. @Cole was previously a moderator, and despite a troubled 'resignation' he reapplied, and is now a highly valued member of the staff team.

Think of what Tyla has done for the PLPD, he was on the board of supervisors prior to the ranks update, and has quite literally been here since the very beginning. He's an excellent support services captain and has been, and still is a role model for me in the police department for several months now.

Bring him back on board, he'll be a huge asset to the staff team. I know it.

To be fair I would like to see you back in the staff team. When you were staff I saw as a respectable and overall outstanding Moderator. However, if you get the position I will need to ask you for two things:

1. Please stop posting videos that out a bad light on the staff team, if you want to continue to post them please just don't break any rules in them.

2. Please bring back the staff section reminder it was great, it really was..... I am missing it at this point as it just was a big help to me.

I have to give this a big fat +Support

Back when Tyla was moderator, he did a fantastic job doing his duties, always calm and friendly and knows the rules so with him being an ex-moderator makes him a great choice to consider getting back onto the staff team.

Even now, when I see Tyla in-game, he's always a friendly person to speak to and willing to help others.
I really hope to see you back on the staff team mate ;)

From what I've seen from you is just only positive, here are some of them:

- Excellent roleplay
- Very helpful in admin sits (I've seen him help out in the LOOC chat)
- You're very friendly, first time I talked to you you were really friendly

You also got a high position within PLPD and that shows that you're a good roleplayer and that you have good law knowledge. And you're also know within the community.

So I really Support this application. Goodluck!

I'd support this again, but over the past month or so you've been very inactive. I feel like you may do this if you get the position, so i'd want to see your activity go up again before you get enforcer.

You were a really good moderator when you wanted to be, you were very helpful and I was glad when you got Enforcer first time around. But you did become really lazy but probably because of being a moderator for over a year. But I believe that if you wanted to then you could do a great job like before. You have made a good application which shows you really want to do this again so +support mate.

I walked away from this community, then I heard this and I turned around as I need to put my toughts out here for a last time.

Tyla, you were one of the people I looked up when you were a staff member, you always responded to messages I sent you on steam regarding situations I came in InGame, you always responded almost instantly and that is something I really appreciate in a staff member, rather than doing reports and AR's also help people when they have questions and they ask them on steam for whatever reason they might have.

I definitely +Support you and hope you get it.

Regards,

Gary

aye go on tila, you used to be a brilliant mod but unfortunately made a few mistakes, i don't believe that should limit you though as "everyone makes mistakes" and i still believe you could easily execute your duties without breaking rules, the only thing i would say was the same as @Cole just stop with the videos shining a bad light on the staff team, i enjoy them and many others do most likely but if you want to become a staff member they can't continue.

As with any staff member that was previously demoted, I cannot give my support.
Out of principle, I think it's wrong to give back someone a position they clearly showed they couldn't properly handle.
So therefore, personally, I do not think you are trustworthy enough to be given back these responsibilities.

It appears as if Tyla's demotion is the thing that all of you are on about, and the fact is they had a reason to demote him, clearly, yet it has been quite some time.
I would like you all to think about it, you all made mistakes and sometimes begged for a second chance, and you did not get it, but, sometimes you do get this second chance, you need to prove that you are trusted once again, that you can handle the thing you have been untrusted with after your mistake, which I think it is fair to say Tyla did do it, he did prove himself again, and it is not all about a roleplaying community, it is people and people learn from their mistakes - this is simply who we are.
It has been quite some time, people change, I can only support him.

I think it's pretty obvious of what I'm going to put here, but I will do so anyway. I cannot sum up enough what I think of Tyla, there's so much good stuff that I could say about him. Having been working with Tyla as a Police Training Supervisor and before I know that he is capable of handling the role, yes previously he made some silly mistakes and got demoted, but there has been staff previously demoted that got staff again and I think Tyla would be better this time as he's had time to mature (like a nice cheese) so 150% +support.

Forgive and forget, right? A demotion for, if I have this right. Breaking some rules (correct me if I am wrong) it is, yes what you are not meant to do. But you are a more than capable staff member, and extremely nice and funny guy. Which are some aspects that staff should have. I support this application.

Edit:
I also believe that you have once again proven to the community you are trustworthy of a position. Only thing you should really improve on, is helping in /help
