@Adrish I’d love to have a chat with you properly at some point so you can get your points across properly and I can give them to the relevant command teams. Maybe if you’re on teamspeak at some point we can talk about it, you clearly have some good ideas and feel quite passionate about certain matters, fresh ideas are always welcome.

They don't even use Staff Sergeant it's been a rank for months and only 3 people have it what is the point?

We’re working on that. One was promoted yesterday, and we intend on rewarding those who work hard with the staff sergeant role. It did become a little unused, but this is something we discussed in our meeting and aim to change right away.

@Creepis speaking to the captain should be the first thing you do, if they need anything brought up to SMT then that’s what the majors do for the divisions, we do of course have other things to do alongside that but that’s the only bit that’ll directly have any impact on you. You should listen to your captain, but of course the major can overrule a captain and should be listened to over a captain however I’ve never seen that happen before so I think that’s unlikely.

I saw that TFU recently started accepted reinstatements which is good, I was annoyed that the first time I reapplied I was told I had to go through all 3 stages again.

@Tom The other thing I'll say is the amount of supervisors ingame is laughable, there are maybe 3 you see on daily which is restrictive because Cpls can't do warrants nor do they have DNA tools. The sergeant rank should never have been limited to section leads.

@Creepis Your Captain is your first go-to. If your Captain needs something, he goes to his Line Manager.

I like to attend all meetings my teams run so I am not some absent figure that gets to call the shots

Again, this is something we’re looking into. Surveys are being sent out by patrol and RTU for peoples opinions on sections and if the general feeling seems to be removing them or changing them in any way then that will of course be done.

What exactly about TFU is OP? What more do you guys want? There have been policies limiting the number of TFU in gear, patrolling in heavy gear, adding in light gear, and not too long ago a policy about using the swat van to run people over. Afaik, this is all people complained about for the last year and a half and we’ve taken measures to satisfy those complaints; im just in shock as to how you still think they’re “OP”. I know you feel like thats “how it should be” but an explanation as to how they are would be splendid. Literally shaking rn omg

@Slayerduck

I somewhat agree that the overall quality may drop, but back when I was cpl TFU was impossible to get into unless you knew the leaders. PD is way too serious to have fun in, I couldn't get on my pc for a couple weeks which meant I didn't make hours and couldn't post a notice so I got dishonourable discharged. I grinded for months to get high enough to be TFU and bs like that happens

The OP part is the fact that you have officers literally patrolling with Automatic Weapons, so if I were to raid a projex there would be a TFU there as fast as there would be a normal officer. But I'd rather it be that way because otherwise raids would be super easy. OP wasn't probably the best word to describe it as people that know how to aim will still have a good chance against officers, with TFU there is a lot more added pressure when raiding and theres more of a risk factor. Which is good.

Well I don't see SWAT patrolling with full gear in real life, the officers do that.

@MegaFro They don't patrol in full gear anymore. TFU can only patrol with an SMG or M16 and the same body armour normal cops have.
