What part of physics would you want to work in? I'd be really interested to do research on quantum tunneling tbh

Physics is fun, taking Physics I right now, and in the US it's nutty how difficult it is, I would 100% recommend taking calculus before any college/university physics class it will make your life so much easier.

Calculus is easy af though so I don't think that would be needed

There aren't different types of physics you choose what you research once you graduate and have a degree, I could become a pathologist and choose what I want to research depending on what is in demand and what interested.

I am a biology student though keep in mind math isn't exactly my strong spot, and for most students calculus is fairly hard to begin with
