WHY DO YOU WANT TO BE AN ENFORCER:

Introduction:
My name is Joey and, if any of you are fortunate enough to have not met me, I have been in the community for 2 years now. Over this time in the community, I have made a fair few friends and changed as a person throughout my maturity, rule knowledge and my personality overall. My personality tends to be fairly light and bubbly with the ability to be serious when needed. I prefer to try be friendly to everyone and feel I manage myself well around those whom I have distaste towards; I conduct myself respectfully and in a mature manner.

Why I am applying:
I have found myself to very much enjoy the aspect of teaching others with experiences I have been through. This teaching aspect could really shine if I were to hold the position of enforcer in the community. Of course, this appeals to me as of the fact that I will be able to help the community overall yet I am so intrigued by the concept of being able to teach newer members how to get engaged with the community, within the rules. I want to engage myself within the staff team to help make PERP an even more welcoming community.

ARE YOU ACTIVE ON THE TEAMSPEAK:
Yes, I maintain an active presence on TeamSpeak most of the day, most days. I use this time to have general chatter with community members or try help out some people needing support.

I will now address my record for warnings and bans.

As you can see, I have not been warned for over a year and a half and feel that this shows that I follow the rules at all times (apart from a very minute amount of exceptions). I feel that all of these were valid and I have learnt from them well.

Very early last month, I received a 12 hour ban from Chris for the reason below:

This ban was completely valid and I understand that, even though I was exhausted due to the early morning time I was playing, this behaviour and action is unacceptable and cannot be excused. I was not thinking straight and made a mistake. Yet, as of it being my first punishment in over a year and a half, I feel that something like this can show that my mistakes are very few and far between when it comes to rule breaks. I was completely honest when confronted about this and am still sorry to the lad I shot and am glad that he forgave me.

ShadowJoey is not only a very friendly user within the community but recently he has shown very good rule knowledge and law knowledge. I think ShadowJoey would make a perfect role in the staff team. Shadowjoey is a very funny person and is a very nice person to be around.

In the timespan between your previous application being made & it being closed, I believe I saw more than enough reasons for why you should not be a part of the staff team. Your rule knowledge, of one specific rule at least, is far from adequate in my opinion. This opinion is based on forum reports you have made & context found in your previous application. Your behaviour is not fit for someone wishing to be a staff member , as seen here, where it shows you attempting to justify your actions of having moved someone continuously, due to you believing they are "vile".

I do not believe you've become better since the 31st of July, merely a month ago, the date which your previous application was denied. That would mean you've changed a lot since then, which I highly doubt.

He's really friendly. Joey is a pretty professional roleplayer and is a very skilled officer.
He has very much knowledge of the rules, he really knows what to do and what not to do.
I think he would do great as a Staff Member.
Overall he's a wise guy

I don't exactly want to fall out or anything but I will just give my fairly neutral feedback. Don't get me wrong you're a nice guy with good intentions but you make out to be very power hungry and obnoxious at times which would really piss me off if I was in an admin situation with you. The best example I can give is your activity in the academy, you are the most active police training officer without a doubt but you act as if you're in charge of everybody in the academy when you really aren't.

Unlike a reasonable staff member, I could not trust you with any of my private/general information whether that be my e-mail address or a demo from my perspective after two experiences with you in the past where you leaked chat logs from me between two other members of the community and another experience where you blatantly lied saying @Chris will give you the ability to join the Police Department without waiting for slots just to make out to everybody in teamspeak that you're somehow a big powerful figure in the Police Department. I apologise if this sounded extremely negative as again, you're an alright geezer, but these points need to be worked on before/if you become a staff member.

I mean this really sums it up. The Academy thing is all too true. Its no doubt that you are the most active PTO but I heard rumors that you said you were getting Lieutenant or something and I only believe that you are so active trying to get this. Along with what happened with Matt and then I have also had personal experience where you have been bossing people around when in reality you have no power over them.

Only last week you informed a perfectly qualified PTO that he was not able to train a PTA, he was a Sgt and PTO with the exact same powers as you but for some reason you felt like you could tell him hes not allowed to.

These are not really things you can fix in a week and it might take a bit longer but maybe (?) you can work on them. I don't meant to be rude but its noticed by a lot of people and greatly works against you for a staff member.

Sorry but you just kicked your own bucket here. Tyla gave you some constructive support and you up and disagreed with it? Proving his points about you being obnoxious etc.

In response to Tyla's point about me lying. I would like to say that I said that I wanted to suggest an idea to Chris of allowing PTOs to become cop when the slots are full just to do stage 3 patrols. The thing with not allowing the PTO to train was be saying to the PTO that I rushed him to PTO and didn't want to be in trouble if he messed up so I wanted to watch him train some PTAs.

Other than that, I do hope you can get this rank in the server, I hope you become an enforcer. Your such a great player, and you have excellent skills that you can provide. While you are a very nice person and have the dedication that really proves to me that you want to be a staff member, @Minilarro made a very fair point. There are positive aspects about yourself and your personality of being an authoritative role however the negatives far outweigh them. Your mindset with the Teamspeak incident regarding Matt was very unacceptable and showed to myself an abuse of power, ability, and responsibility. I don't feel that your presence on the Staff team would be beneficial and most likely would result in a lot of issues regarding yourself. Just because you're trying hard doesn't mean you're trying the right things.

Nothing personal, but I just don't see your attitude and behavior appropriate to the level that a staff member should hold. You clearly shown your frustration and lack of respect because you believe you hold a higher position within the community/PD whatever you wanna call it. By this I mean, you abused your team speak powers to annoy someone by moving them, because what seemed like a personal thing, you don't continue to move someone after they didn't even join back to your channel. That was just out-right stupidity and clearly shows your downside, not being able to keep calm. Another video which WhiteWolf later removed, now take this with a grain of salt I don't entirely remember exactly what happened, but if I recall correctly you decided to threaten him with a complaint or something to do with a complaint against him which seemed completely OOC and personal the way you directed it towards him with (and I don't mean you always do) a arrogant tone and then interrupted an RP sit which was basically him pulling you over I believe. That and then on top of what Walker + Tyla said, I mean, how can you even be trusted with being a staff member? You had 1 month to change and clearly you haven't considering the posts above mine mention some situations in which you clearly haven't changed since constructive posts were given to you and you should've looked to improve if you were gonna apply for this position again. You clearly can't take criticism and improve on it, and if you won't your attitude and arrogance will remain and someone like you, at least I believe, should not be holding the rank of an Enforcer or Moderator in the community as I feel you would cause too many personal issues between you and other staff members. Hopefully you can prove me and others wrong next time you decide to apply, but for now you show no signs of change. Good luck regardless.

neutral Okay, So, I do believe you have the skills to become an enforcer due to your ability to listen to both sides of a story and such, however, you don't really seem to be able to keep calm in situations such as when people "minge" about, when you're an enforcer this will be something you deal with a lot so I'm not sure if you will adapt to that or what, but as of now I'm gonna be neutral, another reason I'm staying neutral is the fact that you do have very good rule/law knowledge and you have helped me with such by allowing me to get to senior+. I'm gonna say you're a nice lad to be around, but, you're quite bossy also and have to have things your way otherwise you aren't very happy. However, due to there being various pros and cons throughout this, as I said, I am going to have to be neutral, GL with getting enforcer.

-Support As mage said, you cannot take critism. In your last app (pretty sure this one too) you rated prople who had pointed out valid facts -Supporting you ,dumb or dislike.

They gave you feedback and you failed to adhere to it. No matter how many times you change all your ratings to likes it still doesn't mean that you have changed as a person.



Imo , I believe you are still a bit of a minge on the server at points, I understand you have to find ways of making things fun but if you are going to be staff you cannot fail to follow RP seriously as you are setting a bad example to the new players and to the server altogether.
